The ABC coverage is hands down the best. Not even close.

That's strange mate. I normally find Kayo much more HD than watching it on Ch 9 (except for the HD channels).
The Fox commentators are OK - I don't like Dan Ginnane, he's not biased, but he just annoys me with things he says sometimes and I don't think he has a great feel for the game. Warren Smith is good, and I'm probably one of the few that doesn't mind Andrew Voss. Brandy and Blocker are **** and Matt Russell is pretty boring. But I'd watch any of them rather than the ones on 9.

Everyone but Flanno & Griffin just shout for 80min. Vossy shouts & makes a big deal of some really mundane ****. Its too hyped on Fox. Ch9 on the other hand usually sound like they got other things to do.

Listen to his podcast mate. He goes and talks to lots of fringe guys. He talked a few weeks ago about why he signed Salmon and how he has always rated him. He also talked this week about how he had a long chat with Crossland last year but didn't make an offer because at that point he still wanted to be a full time #7.

I think people see "channel 9 Gus" as the actual guy, but I reckon that is just a hat he wears. In real life I reckon he has his finger on the pulse every bit as much as Uncle Wayne.
