what are you smoking ? He hardly plays for Newtown your comment doesn’t make sense.

The kid had one bad game in a team full of players he hardly plays with and he just had his appendix removed… the kid also killed it when he played first grade ? What’s your point ?
I wize man once said that it shouldn't matter who you play with...
And he was inconsistent when he played for the Jets or Sharks for whatever reasons you care to attribute. He did well sometimes and not well other times... in the same game. It's all in the threads, match reports and stats mate, I don't think anyone disagrees.
He had five 80 minute games for the Jets and ran for less than 40 metres in three of them, his goal kicking was 68% and missed 4-5 tackles regularly while barely cracking double digits made (I think had had all organs intact for 4 of those games).

Feel free to be glass half full about him, it's good to hear opinions, but he's not made a compelling case to crack the starting side for the Sharks.

Wiz, not being funny but your taking a long bow to claim Trindall killed it “when he played first grade”. In my opinion, overall Tricky was a C-

Trindalls biggest problem is the guy who did kill it in first grade through 2022, was the guy he was competing against for the 5/8 spot a year ago - Moylan.

If Moylan had a single slip on or off the field, Trindall may have got more minutes - Moylan did not slip up.

If there is an introduction to the back line, I agree Dykes is special - for mine he would add more overall impact than Tricky & may be bought in if Kennedy stumbles or is groomed to take over from Moyan In 2025.

Dykes has more in his trick bag than tricky.

I agree with Proud Sharks assessment - the room for improvement is the pack.

Tinkering with the 6,7 & 9 that all finished in the top 4 of our group Player of the year pole seems daft.
All good… Kinda missed my point but

Trindall had one bad game at the jets and sparkles jumped at it - using that same flawed logic, Trindall also has had games this year in first grade where he killed it so now what ?

in and out of the team, doesn’t train with the jets, no cohesion with the players around him, coming off the bench in first grade not playing your natural position.

All those things stunt your development, look at Teig, what trindall went through this year was ten times more messy ;

you can pull those same stats you ripped out about Moylan this year, it doesn’t mean anything. What matters is if they are improving and adding value by being in the same squad and same position all year, Moylan ain’t going to bring much more then what you’ve seen from him in the finals series… it would be silly to let Trindall go imo, especially for Moylan

Imagine how good that Hynes bloke would be now if he wasn't in and out of the team and playing several positions at the Storm

Should this still be pinned to the top with the 2023 one there now?
