We don't seem to know how to change gears, it's all or nothing. Need to be able to change tempo when required.

And again, our last tackle options when attacking are ****ing embarrassing. I've said this almost every week, was expecting some improvement by now.

I reckon we'd be bottom 2 or 3 for forced dropouts.
It has to be said... Nicho is still looking pretty lost a lot of the time. Very involved, very skillful, just not near a halfback yet

I detest Manly, but actually really liked their Anzac jerseys tonight. The black and maroon looked awesome. And was least I have ever hated them. Was a bit strange.
Each man to his own but I did not like it as there was nothing on the jersey to commemorate the Anzacs.

Reminded me of the Broncos game in 2016. We were up 30-4 at half time and won by 2.

I apologise if someone put alot of effort into our Anzac jersey but it looks like it was slapped together in an hour after a long lunch, real hodge podge of themes and ideas but mostly just empty blue

It's the thought and meaning behind it that matters though
What about Suttons Jersey?

I do love a win on a Thursday or Friday night game.
You can Sit back and watch the other teams bite, scratch and claw their way through the rest of the round.

Haven't had a chance to write my thoughts just yet on the game.

Obviously first half was brilliant, haven't seen a half of football like that for some time and also haven't seen a performance from an individual player like that for some time as well.

Second half was totally abysmal. I don't care about 5 day turnarounds (Manly had one too) or the refereeing issues (I actually think there wasn't any), or the wind against us, a good team overcomes these things.

Poor ends to sets, poor defence, ill discipline and probably a subconscious thought that the game was over led to that second half performance. I was surprised to hear Fitz being overly positive about it all in the presser, thought he may have been a bit more cranky. Hopefully he'll address it this week.

In case you have missed it -

The Anzac Jerseys worn last night are being auctioned to support Nathan Stapleton & his family .

See Sharks website .

"The Sharks are throwing their support behind former NRL player Nathan Stapleton who recently suffered a serious spinal injury while playing Rugby for the country town of Boorowa.

With speed and power, ‘Stapo’ became a fan favourite at the Sharks, playing on at wing, centre and fullback in a 61-game NRL career from 2009-2014, with the injury coming as a major shock to all at the Cronulla club and to the close-knit community of Boorowa in southwestern NSW. "
