It's not abusing the rules at all.

Typical fox sports dribble. Just quote TV commentators rather than coming up with something yourselves.

Looked a legit tackle but on replay you can see it went high on Tolman. Doesn't matter if Tolman was falling down responsibility has been on the tackler for as long as I can remember now not to make contact with the head

Take a look at a tackle Wilton cops around the 6th minute of the game. There was 2 in the tackle and a 3rd man came in and belted him without arms wrapped - shoulder charge? It was play on

Where was our penalty or penalty try on the last play ?

Blatantly taken out..

Ref was heard on mic saying he doesn't think it's a sin binning suggesting he doesn't think it was leading to a try and hence will just be a penalty. I reckon we had a chance of breaking the line there and putting on a 4 pointer but they need to know that conclusively. Oh well taking the penalty go let us run down the clock so Manly still got punished from it in this case

For the first part… where’s the charge on Garrick for shoulder charge on player off the ball in first half?
Swap him and Talakai around and it’s a month on the sideline.

Second part, given Talakais form for the game it’s at least a professional foul you’d think. International foul play to stop a legit try scoring opportunity.

First chance to come on here since the game, anyway, what a blitzing that was in the 1st half, never expecting that at h/time but in saying that, what did Dessy say during the break to his team, he must have said something unless we just took our feet off the gas in the 2nd. Maybe a mixture of both.

Talakai is an absolute beast atm, man of the match without a doubt, that was an excellent left hand side combo last night between Talakai & Ronaldo. We had a 5 day turnaround & playing another good side so that was definately still a good effort to get a win like that.

The Manly Front Row Forum is such a hilarious read from the time the game kicked off .
Here's an example

Harper unlucky there , you can clearly hear him yell touch as Talakai runs past him
I will be reading the forum tonight for a bit on light entertainment.

Second half was totally abysmal. I don't care about 5 day turnarounds (Manly had one too) or the refereeing issues (I actually think there wasn't any), or the wind against us, a good team overcomes these things.
By like ultimately winning? Like we did?

Staggs is electric, very interested to see how this plays out.
The pessimist in me is thinking Staggs will have a blinder of a game and the Talakai media buzz might fade a bit.

I'm hoping they come up with some other things to counter the extra attention, maybe switch sides sometimes, more cut out passes or kicks behind seeing that Cobbo can't defend for ****

Whatever happens it's better to find out now rather than in a final.

Will be a big challenge... but Talakai is less likely to be run over then Momorovski and Tago were.

Plus it's going to more about the guys around Talakai as well. Defend together and Staggs less likely to be an issue.

I think it is time we have faith in our team and trust that they will do everything they can to crush the opposition. Regardless of who they are.

many many many years of disappointment when you think your team is making progress, or turned a corner and is building to something perhaps???
;) (take out '16 of course)

but always quietly confident!!!
