You can usually tell because they'd be getting their eyes painted on by now
Hope they dry in time with all the wet weather in NSW!

'Twas the night before Teamlist, when all through the comp
Not a person was stirring, not even Coop Cronk.
The salary caps were hung by headquarters with care,
In hopes that Saint Nick would soon be there.

Anyone expecting any bolters or surprise selections ?

For mine I think it's going to mostly pick itself given who we have out the first few rounds. Maybe the bench is where things could be interesting.

Yeah just the last bench spot - another forward / Ikavalu / Metcalf ?

I think the only bolter might be Metcalf on the bench. Agree with Super Impose.

Wishful thinking... Colquhoun signed and named in the #17.

He was in the back ground at training and he's got some good size to him for his age. Only going to get bigger and stronger as he matures too.
Interesting that he and The Nut are both still training with the NRL squad. Both must have either extended the T&T or been added to the dev list.

Can't see Colquhoun playing much more Flegg.

Also - Toby said "the team was just read out" but he can't confirm whether he is starting or bench.

Then about 15 seconds later when asked about Wade he said "we've got young Teig Wilton there..." talked about Teig for a bit and then said "I'm looking forward to playing with Teig this weekend".

Hardly a scoop, but lock in Teig as the left edge back rower.

I’m looking forward to the mass changes for round 2 discussion to get our season back on track.. always a early season favourite of mine…

sack the lot of them now before they disappoint and embarrass the fans and club - time to be proactive guys. Why have a whipping boy when you can crack the whole squad.

More importantly, who will be the ref that will almost certainly cost us the game?

and who paid him off?

You can usually tell because they'd be getting their eyes painted on by now

practising their 'release Andrew release' calls in front of the mirror

I'm pretty keen to see the team list, alot more than usual especially as is round 1, just wanna see where our new coach thinking is at though gunna be hard to get a full and proper read considering the outs we currently have and some selections have been somewhat forced or shuffled about.

so will be a distorted view. hopefully we are "full strength" or at least have everyone available for selection at some point, haven't had that luxury in years.

doubt he would have sticked with the same squad for the entire season regardless, there will still be things he is working out, experiementing with and is going to learn and adapt from pending combinations, player form, structures ect.

"MILKING"
It amazes me how referees think they can identify when a player is milking. Do they think they can get inside the player's brains or something? They usually play favourites with this. Let's hope the ref we get Friday night is a good one. I don't mind Grant Atkins or Adam Gee - the others are nothing short of disgraceful. I'd even have Kasey Badger or Belinda Sharpe before I'd have Cummins, the Sutton brothers et al.

No ref is perfect or mistake free but Grant Atkins and Adam Gee are probably 2 of the fairest and 'perceived' least biased in my view. Also 2 of the youngest.

some refs just seem to have a hard on for slamming certain teams and favoring others even if it's just perceived but they are all victims of the system they work in and under and all the bs that comes with that.

they are orchestrating theatre as much as they were probably prefer just to be left alone to call a game as they see fit and get on with things.
some refs are ofcourse incompetent and capable of making bizarre decisions that are difficult to justify.

Would have different connotations if you were playing in Bega. Probably lose half the crowd.

Referees: Ben Cummins;Sideline Officials: Darian Furner, Matt Noyen;Video Referees: Chris Butler;

at least being rnd1 sticky hasn't had a chance to fume over the refs and get them to look after his team for a week or so yet. happy for themz to get dudded though, always hilarious.

even better to win legit though, for our seasons prospects and confidence and all and so stricky looks even more an excuse riddled knob

I agree with your son - Cummins has been trying to get sweet with Ricky ever since the GF incident ..
