I dont think the Swans got a cap exemption when they shifted north from South Melbourne in 1980. I think the COL Allowance came later in the 90’s im pretty sure.

He said he can't commit to living in NZ once his contract expires end of 2023.

I don't see what he's done wrong.

I think it was more a case of the writing was on the wall and what's the point of relocating to a new country just to be sacked within a month or two.
