Raiders do have a move favourable draw, but as we also know, can “Faider out” at times.
Rabbits have a game and percentage over them at the moment.

if Rabbits forwards continue to play like they did last night, I think they will win enough to stay in front of the Raiders. Cody and Mitchell won’t have many quiet games in a row.
The percentage changes when you win games and lose games of course.

It's only speculation. All we can do is wait and see.

100% agree.

im just thinking that given the Eels and Panthers have some very key players (halves in fact) missing that if the Souths forwards play like they did last night, they only need their strike players to lift a bit, and you don’t expect those particular strike players to be missing to often (like the were last night).

that’s why I think they can keep ahead.
but yes, the raiders are definitely still a decent chance

So… full tangent rant.

My son is out for the season after having his head taken off today. He was coat-hangered returning a kickoff, after which he stopped to shake off the effects. The referee didn’t penalise the coat-hanger, so about 2 seconds later he was hit by two different players while standing stationary and relaxed - one of whom hit him square in the temple, and the other who hit him from the side and jarred his shoulder. An hour later he was in hospital, having x-rays on his collarbone and vomiting from the concussion. He’ll now miss his grand final and his entire school footy season. It makes me sick what this sport has become.

Knights coach Adam O'Brien has defended his ability to turn the team's fortunes around after a disappointing loss to the Bulldogs at home on Sunday.
Newcastle went down 24-10 to a resurgent Canterbury outfit, taking their points-conceded total to 522 - the worst in the competition.
Speaking after their fourth loss on the trot, O'Brien said he didn't see that kind of performance coming and feels like they are on track for success, pointing to his experience as an assistant at the Storm and Roosters.
"First 10 minutes was a shock, something I didn't see coming... I was really concerned after the first two sets of the game," the coach said.
"I'm seeing the training that goes into it and we're training well.
"Previous to getting this job here, I was involved in four grand finals.

"I know how the teams prepare, I know the systems that they use defensively. You don't unlearn that knowledge."
Ahead of new football operations boss Peter Parr's arrival at the club this week, O'Brien asked for patience during the difficult run
"Applying it and getting it ingrained is going to take some time, clearly," he added.
"It's going to take a lot of time and I know some people don't want to wait that long.
"We've got the right people in the joint, we just need to have a plan and coach the hell out of it and hopefully we look back at this season as 'that was a season that helped us grow.'
"Had we scraped into finals this year it would have stuck a bandaid on a problem that's still there."
To make matters worse for the Knights, Jacob Kiraz, who was let go by the club ahead of the season, scored a hat-trick on the wing for the Dogs.
O'Brien was asked about the circumstances which led to the 20-year-old's departure, explaining Edrick Lee's return from injury and an excess of outside backs meant someone had to go.
"Recognising that we needed to move someone on and Dom [Young] had a pretty good summer," O'Brien said.
"We had Hymel [Hunt], Dom, Bradman [Best] in the centres.
"[Kiraz] had a really good day. You're going to have ones that come back and hurt you and he did that.
"I think anyone put in that situation back then would probably have wanted to fit Edrick in the team.
"If I'm honest, I didn't foresee him as quickly jumping to the levels that he has."
The Knights take on the 15th-placed Tigers next Sunday.

Lucky they have Elliot and Hetherington coming…

Sounds like you need a higher standard of officiating, at all levels

Sorry it was your boy on the end of it
Yep.

Thanks mate. I’ve lost all confidence in RL officials to protect players. I had another player go to hospital today with a concussion today too. No penalty. I think I need to find a new sport for both myself and my son.

No need for the foul language mate.
If not nrl gotta be soccer!

Unless you go cricket but then you’ve gotta spend all day there.

Can’t go an individual sport like tennis, golf… learn too much from being in a team environment

Don’t tell me rugby or afl

I’m thinking something completely different. Field hockey, handball, basket weaving. Something I know FA about so I can sleep at night.
