It’s that but faster

Still looks like an intentional effort to slam the elbow down on him at full speed to me
On the ‘Dale scale ‘ - it’s careless grade 2 as a minimum ..and this was direct contact - not incedental ..

Wouldn't surprise me. He's an unrelenting monster well trained to used his massive size & strength advantage very well.

On the ‘Dale scale' Lindsey Collins comes to and finds a grade 2 charge against him for pretty much what Dale did.

100% that’s the precedent that Dale is talking about.

He’s put his elbow in a dangerous position and collected his head causing injury, all these types need to be suspended now don’t they?
Fine last week for elbowing Murray, nothing this week for elbowing Egan

Regardless of intent NRL just suspended Dale for two weeks for an accident that caused and injury… can NRL explain how throwing your elbow down on someone like that “accidentally” hitting opponents face is any different?
This is exactly the **** that people rightly get upset about.
The MRC is too inconsistent which creates all this angst….

From DT. Wasn't sure if it had been mentioned yet, hadn't noticed.

Nathan Cleary is facing a five game ban after being charged by the match review committee. Cleary will be banned for five weeks with an early guilty plea after the horror spear tackle that saw him sent off in the first half of Parramatta’s stunning 34-10 win on Friday night.

Affectively 6 weeks given he missed most of the game last night.
Thats fitting for THAT tackle.

The NRL has defended its decision to not charge Melbourne prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona, claiming his contact with the head of Warriors hooker Wayde Egan was "incidental".
Asofa-Solomona's name was not listed on the match review committee's charge sheet on Saturday, despite vision appearing to show the prop planting his elbow into Egan's face on Friday.

At the time the New Zealand international was placed on report by referee Peter Gough.

Egan was taken off for a HIA and was seen clutching his jaw.

But the NRL said it did not believe there was any malice, clearing Asofa-Solomona to play in the Storm's round 21 clash with Gold Coast.

"There was clear separation between Nelson Asofa-Solomona's arm and the head of Wayde Egan as the players went to the ground," said NRL match review coordinator Luke Patten.

"Asofa-Solomona's arm lands on Egan's chest on a diagonal and makes incidental contact with his head/neck after the ground impact.

"As a result, the match review committee cleared the tackle of involving either a head slam or a dangerous contact action."

**** off!
What planet was Luke Patten watching from???

‘Incidental contact’ hard enough to bust all his teeth so… again, accidental headclash is two weeks accidentally slamming your forearm in someone’s face should too

Wouldn't surprise me if Souths end up missing out on the 8.

Apart from the Warriors they have a tough run.

I think they’ll be there.
They were strong last night and you don’t expect Mitchell and Cody to have a long run of quiet games.

They also play teams missing very key players.

Eels are hit and miss and Moses is out
Pennies don’t have their halves (Cleary will be a huge loss)
Cows at home….
Mitchell always aims up for a Roosters showdown.

They could win all of those IMHO

I think the Raiders might take their spot

Raiders do have a move favourable draw, but as we also know, can “Faider out” at times.
Rabbits have a game and percentage over them at the moment.

if Rabbits forwards continue to play like they did last night, I think they will win enough to stay in front of the Raiders. Cody and Mitchell won’t have many quiet games in a row.
