I like the look of Raper too! Looks like he’ll make a good lock.

Just me or did the commentators not make much of an effort to call the game? Not naming players often.

Incredible that, he was pretty handy for Wigan

He is one to sign so no one else gets him

Think he was the only guy who played for us yesterday without some kind of contract to us so it's quite possible there is something already in the works.
There is a good chance he keeps training with the full squad a bit longer now he has started (and after that performance).

29 man squad typically due by March 1
At the moment we have 28 on roster
Train and trial: Kayleb Milne, Jack A. Williams, Josh Carr, Tom Hazelton, Monty Raper
Dev list: Martin, Metcalf, Ferris, Raper, Vasquez, Lualua, possibly Rivett
???: Hamlin

Can only play what’s in front of you. For a lot of these guys they’re not close to first grade this year, some for a couple of years potentially but great to give them that experience. It’s been working well the last few years for us in how we prepare our juniors.

Good hit out. Couple see how they progress.

Finau put on a few good tackles. Samrani didn’t do much but has the right body shape, club rates him highly.

Hamlin is a goer. Definitely the standout for mine. Looked like he'd go well in the new game.

Not just you mate, Blocker send to enjoy himself but doesn't get too burdened by on field events or rosters

Not sure if you noticed mate but they had numbers on their backs.

then they didn't read their cheat sheets, or maybe the players never turned their backs to them :D

interesting considering he doesn't usually shut up pointing out the most obvious ****

At least he knew we'd be hard to beat at Shark Park ;)

TBF, a few Dragons players shared the same jersey number during the game so it would be a bit hard for blocker to remember numbers to names to faces or hair styles/colours to tell the differences between them.
That's 3-4 things to remember all at once!!

Watched a replay of this game today, great as usual watching us beat the Dragons at home! Probably can't infer much (or anything) about this performance regarding how our season is going to go, but a win's a win.

Great also watching Adam Dykes's son run around, Adam was one of my favourite players.

Great also watching Adam Dykes's son run around, Adam was one of my favourite players.

In that team he stood out and was as much important as Jimmy did in for us in 2016
Absolute was GUN was Adam

I watched the first 10min of the trial and Blocker clearly has no idea, constantly praised Pele & Vasquez despite them struggling defensively

In your head, rent free
Only a few players for mine that were stand outs

Metcalf - best on ground
Iro - just because I love this kid
Trindall - keeper
Paterson - solid back up to BB
Teig - looks bugger and quicker
Billy - actually had a go
Raper - all heart but probably wont make it
Hazleton - needs another year in the gym
Hamlin - wow! Wow! WOW!

Disappointed in Pele and Nene. Big time.
Hiroti was ok, Milne is a pussy.

Jack A Williams spent Friday night in a coma btw

First of all sorry if its been already posted but I cannot find out about Hamlin, so any information would be appreciated.
Also I really like how we are trying to keep things inhouse, shows a lot more professionalism.

Induced as a precaution because he was having difficulty breathing after hit to throat in trial.
Should be all good.
Article also says he is expected to sign a Dev contract in coming days.
