Would give Hamlin a contract, do we have an development ones left or the last top 30?

Ferris or Metcalf could move into top 30 and make space for him in Dev. Looked like he deserved it off that effort, otherwise wouldn’t surprise me to see him get an opportunity elsewhere.

He played 26 games for Wigan in 2018, scored 3 tries (maybe passed off a few more). Looks like Wigan finished second on ladder that year then was banned playing the next year for cocaine. Ban expired 5 days ago
Wigan won Final but he wasn't in team, reading some comments on vid of him seems common opinion he should have been in team ahead of Ryan Sutton (who has since racked up 36 games for Canberra)

Hazelton, Metcalfe, Trindall- Keepers

Wilton did some good work, Hiroti was good
Had some questions over Patterson as hooker backup but was fairly happy with him
Young Dykes did some good stuff, as did young Iro

I would be shifting Metcalf we all know fullback is a position we need some depth in and he could definilty be an option this year.

Agree. I was impressed by Hazelton, always seemed to get over the advantage line.

Trindall’s kicking game was fairly average compared to what he’s shown in the past, but some good passing.

It was a bit depressing watching how predictable and structured both teams were. Not many stood out

Guess Billy knew the trade deal was off the table, didn't play like he had much on the line. Ran okay a couple times. Hamlin more likely to get an NRL jersey this season than Mags based off that effort.
In fact, if Hamlin can play in the NRL anything like we just saw in the trial a Hamlin/Talakai interchange at 13 is something I'd be very keen on seeing.

Looks like Hamlin was training in full sharks kit with rest of extended squad at start of the week (album sharks uploaded), so decent chance he keeps doing preseason with squad

Metcalfe looked great tonight but we really need to see how he goes against a proper NRL strength team to see how he fairs.
I thought Dykes did well also given the time he had.
A few other youngens that showed some promise.
Iro, Hamlin, Hazelton
Not much from Billy and I’m not yet convinced about Vas.
