Finally watched the first half and I thought we played pretty well.
Defended our line and some good attacking plays. Scored 2 could have had another couple.
Nikora (for an international) still missing in action for most part IMO.
We have 2 strike players in Jesse and Sexy outside him, so we need more in attack from him (a Wade "mirrored" clone on the right with a good right boot would be ideal). Handling an issue. I think he dropped a couple??
Brailey again showed his worth from dummy half.
Needs to be given a kicking license to take some pressure off of Chad to make him (BB) even more potent and us less predictable.
WK played well as link down that left edge but I don't remember seeing him on the right at all (might be wrong).
Cobwebs blown away for Moyza. Hopefully stays fit and shows what he is capable of, nice links with that left side.
Uele looked dangerous and to the Greek gods credit, played better this time out I thought.
Woods ok, again pushed some passes which led to errors (maybe the support players needed to be more attentive??).
Williams went well, bombed that try, but we see that a lot from plenty others.
Noticed Jesse went looking across field once or twice but still not involved in much of the half (mostly not his doing).
Same as Sexy. We didn't attack much down that right side so didn't get much opp. He did go looking for the ball a bit. Some good runs especially from out of our own end.
Ronnie did what good wingers do and finished off the good work from his half and FB. Defended well.
Fifi, not many minutes in that first half and don't recall seeing many of the others from the bench in that first half???
Maybe I just didn't notice.
Finally, noticed Flan Jnr up to his old tricks and dropping the knee into Brails (34 min mark)!!
Loved how Wade terrorised him on most kicks.
Someone also mentioned our depth. Especially through the middle forwards!
We have to remember we still had Rudolf, Talaiki, Hunt, Toleman not part of this match.
