Tracey also poor missed tackle on the line break, guy was jogging and he didn't look at all likely of pulling him down. Will be unfair to judge Tracey without the same opportunity as Will, but not much else you can do thus far.

Yeah thats the only redeeming factor of these poor middle efforts for the last two tries. They have gone through Milne twice and Magoulias once.

Pele got burned again at solo marker, pretty sure that happened last trial too.
Not just when it’s Pele but A defenders need to tighten if they see we aren’t gunna have 2 markers, and even more important when the one dude is a prop as most hookers will run

Holy **** Milne is bad. Pele incredibly lazy for that break too. Tracey still looks good in support.

One big positive from this is we definitely won’t see Tracey at fullback round 1

Milne wouldn’t make my local A grade run on team with a performance like that, pleasantly surprised with Kennedy.

To be fair to Connor since he’s been on we’ve not had the ball in any form of attacking position.

Firsts team looked solid, second stringers not so much.

The flow of the game changed when Williams came on and never looked to pass to a relatively unmarked Moylan.

A few shockers from the second strings. Dogs second strings played better. Our firsts were better.

Milne and Hiroti were terrible.

I think Kennedy gets FB if we’re going off that game.

Yeah I'll take winning the first 60 over coming back in the second stringers
We weren't convincing but I think at least one of Hunt/Talakai over Wilton on the bench helps a lot, and of course Rudolf over Billy Mags.
Billy was okay but I think can look forward to being named 18-21 a lot, I can't see him ahead of any of the four forwards who didn't play.

I think Kennedy gets FB if we’re going off that game.

Tracey not attacking that kick means no way he starts (in my mind he was always a back up for Kennedy bombing first few rounds anyway, not actually a chance of starting unless he'd been training insanely good)

I thought Kennedy went okay, good performance to build on is better than some other options...

Did Nene not even get a run? Maybe wasn't available in the end? Not that I think he would have done us any favours.

Thought Nikora and Graham both had games above the average of their efforts last season so that's a good sign.

I guess it is the first string side that only matters really.

Add Johnson, Hunt, Talakai, Toby and Tolman and we should be competitive.

Looking forward to see how Metcalf progresses across the year.
