rubbish the 1st graders looked a lot hungrier & more organised in D

Defence was ok but seriously the dogs didn't throw much at us early. We didn't score a point from the 25th minute. Consistently dropped the ball in our own half, Looked clueless on the right egde when attacking in the 20. Aaron woods sucked, Townsend was ****, Jack Williams....I could go on.

Jack Williams needs to learn how to pass. I swear that’s a few times he hasn’t passed which has bombed a certain try

First 40 minutes was actually some of the best footy townsend has played in a while. His bombs were ordinary but his kick chase was excellent.
His passing was to chest as well.

Kaleb Milne is the one who was terrible. Legit turned the game with his horrid efforts and ball control

Chads kick chase was something i really liked from him in 2016-2017. Im glad hes having a good crack

Kicking game is my biggest gripe with a Chad/Moylan combo and where we will miss SJ the most.

Tbh the right edge looked very clunky, but I think that was more because we seemed to be using a prop/middle as first receiver going that way, which slowed down any movements.
Going left was all spine, Brailey>Chad>Moylan>Kennedy and it looked good. We need to have that shape on both sides.

Is Hazleton in our top 30? I really like his impact with the ball in hand. Looks more likely to be a consistent first grader than Pele at this stage. Imo

Yes Chad was way superior to Flanno .

Barrett sees similarities between Flanno and Cleary - well they both have 2 arms and 2 legs and that’s about where the comparison ends .....

Trials are more about the fringies in my opinion, ole mop top was ordinary, pele better than the dragons game but seems a long way off Nrl fitness or intensity, Tracey didn’t have the impact that shouted put me in the 1 for first round. Was loving some of Braileys fast long balls straight from the back of the ruck, gave us great width straight away.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything good from Milne and I’ve watched a fair few Jets games. Think that game was his last chance and he knows he ****ed it. Maybe pressure got to him.

Hirotis defence was awful too. Dropped off too many tackles. I’m glad he’s behind Ferris in the pecking order.

Yeah, it was more so in regard to comment few posts earlier saying how **** chad was.. normal cut and paste post for this forum “sharks lost chads fault” didn’t matter that I’m pretty sure they scored all their points when Chad wasn’t on, Williams bombed a near certain try by not passing to a supporting Moylan, and the the whole Milne fiasco . But hey it’s the guy who got dragged in a semi’s fault.

We were a rabble when our first string spine went off. Actually feel sorry for Tracey. If that was supposed to be his fullback audition he had it in the community theatre production of Sharks.

On Tracey - he and Kennedy played two different styles. Tracey lurking around the middle, Kennedy ball playing out wide. That's probably more due to the shambolic distribution, but did highlight what I already saw as the difference in the two. Kennedy gets the spot if it's based on that showing, but shouldn't feel too secure in it
