Is anyone bothered by Titans?
I’m not, maybe i should be

Basically if Raiders & Sharks lose they can make it, let’s face it the storm will gap us by 20 & the Titans would have to win b6 4 to 6 & jump us.

Just read something that surprised me.

Have a guess which NRL team has used the least amount of players this year?

Um, fact checkers didn’t bother. More laziness.

“Townsend was released mid-season to join the Warriors after being told he was not part of incoming coach Craig Fitzgibbon’s plans for next season.”

Not true. Was already leaving, and was told by Hannay he wasn't part of 2020 plans.

“with 12 of last weekend’s team having come through the club’s junior ranks or played for feeder team, Newtown.”

By my count 14 (everyone but Moylan, Tolman, Wood). Not that it matters for the content of the article, but if you are not going to check the actual number just say "a high percentage of" or something vague.

“After a difficult start under Hannay, Cronulla won four consecutive games with arguably their strongest line-up available”

Hmm… one of these wins was without Katoa, Johnson, Uele or Talakai.

I noticed that about Townsend too, good to see that inventing your own narrative about Chad is consistent outside this forum too.

Also with the 12v14 they probably thought of Metcalf as a Manly player as one of them they got wrong, I did have a Manly fan saying to me 'lucky we let you have one of our good juniors'

I love him as a ref one of the better ones but that call was dead wrong and he knows it

If he thinks it was 50/50 he is right to be retiring
it was 100% wrong to call held when he did.

If he felt happy about the call would have been easier to sleep .
He knew it was wrong in hindsight and might cost us a spot in the 8.
Thus not really wanting to receive any grief or playful banter

But , yep was pretty good over most of his career

The amount of times I see mistakes like this in the articles is embarrassing, considering it is their job. Not hard to get it right. Requires probably 1% more effort for them.

Sadly, I think they know 95% of people won't realise or do their own research and will just take whatever they write as fact.

Mate I agree. Most of those who know me well on here won't be surprised. It is pure laziness I think, can't see what else it could be.

In the old days where accuracy was expected, you could see hard nosed editors sending junior scribes back to their desks with looks on their faces that could kill telling them to get it right or else!!!

These days, they just don't care unless someone clicks on the article. After they do that the article could be a recipe for the Toup Kitchen for all they care.

BULLDOGS DISPOSAL

Dylan Napa, Lachlan Lewis, Renouf Atoni, Sione Katoa, Dean Britt, Chris Smith, James Roumanos, Brad Deitz, Watson Heleta and Kiko Manu have not seen their contracts extended into the 2022 season.

The Bulldogs will welcome six new players from 2022 however, with Josh Addo-Carr, Matt Burton, Matt Dufty, Tevita Pangai Junior, Brent Naden and Paul Vaughan all heading to Belmore
