NRL wants to thank you

We were our own worst enemy. Can’t rely on other games/ teams to get you into the 8.
We certainly didn’t deserve to be there based on some of the tripe we put up throughout the season.
TBF, neither do the Titans or Knights!!!

At least we weren’t the worse ever team to make it into the 8, that is now the Titans honour.

absolutely agree, we didn't do ourselves any favours throughout the season in may different games.
and you can rarely rely on results from other games

funny thing about finals, sometimes teams can go on a run. will see what happens
(no HB sarcasm intended)

What a painfull ****house season. Thank god the Titans put us out of our misery. We didn't even deserve to be in Finals contention.

Its pretty simple. Last game of the year Titans had to ice it to make the finals and they did just that. We had that chance many times in the last few weeks. Soft losses to newy and warriors should never have happened.

Well done to the titans, they turned up today with the season on the line
And got it done.

Exactly right mate we had plenty of chances in the past 6 weeks or so and blew it

Who's going for who in the Finals now we are out? I'm on the Eels or Titans, but both could be short lived. And I think Manly can get the Storm this week.

Yep Eels or Titans for me too but frankly anyone but panthers or knights

ideally the roosters can go **** themselves too

It's hard not to respect what the Storm & Sea Eagles are doing

Will cheer on Souths as they're my dad's/grandfather's team, but Latrell has stuffed them spectacularly.

Titans would be great but they're no chance. Hate the rest of them.

I know we're supposed to hate Manly but I admire what they're doing.

And it's hard to hate Turbo, freak of a player and a down to earth guy, not a hint of arrogance.

Agree with Gards, under no circumstances do I want to see the chin nuts win.

I've despised the Storm for a long time but I don't hate their current lineup as much as I did in the Cam Smith years. Will be watching Finucane and Hynes with interest.

Not sure who I am going for, might have to judge it by lineup/team game by game

Storm - I still hate them and don't like Munster and a couple others but agree Hynes and the Fin as future Sharks have my attention. Whether Hynes stays in side or not could be determining factor if I'll back them
Penrith - I actually don't mind Penrith and like quite a few of their current players but would be funny to see them drop another GF. Plus starting same year as us and winning another GF makes us look bad.
Rabbitohs - Latrell has ****ed them I think, him Walker and Gagai just piss me off a bit too much with their garbage for me to like souths currently even though all are brilliant players and fun to watch play
Sea Eagles - Turbo is just too much fun to watch to fully hate Manly. I could stand it for them to win more than I have in the past. Also really like their 2nd rowers. But I'd be happy for DCE and Walker to not win anything.
Roosters - kind of hate them (just tall poppy syndrome this one) but again do like some of their players and would be insane for them to overcome the adversity of their season
Eels - don't mind eels, but can't say I am very interested in seeing them play many more games
Knights - as above
Titans - best Qld team but still Qld team and them doing well would hurt too much in a 'what could have been' way, hope they crash out

On the Turbo train I suppose. What he's doing is incredible. I know it's a melting soft serve of a comp with passive defence but no one else is doing anything like what he is.

Can't believe I am saying this either but I think Manly can give this a real shake and I'm happy to cheer them on.

Turbo is out of this world and I love seeing fast wingers scoring tries and Jason Saab has been going great guns for them.

He's still got an error or two in him but for speed you can bank on him.

Although, and I didn't see it, I understand he couldn't catch the Hammer the other night.

Caught him easily mate, unbelievably easily, made Hammer look slow.

He just stuffed up the tackle.

Chased him down just got fended off & couldn't effect the tackle. Saab is absolutely the fastest man in NRL.
