Someone like McInnes definitely gets a jersey from me, he's your 3rd choice hooker* and you know he will cover 13 no worries if needed.
I think a lot of the guys outside the 17 will have versatility, guys like Cotric and Graham can cover centre or wing for example could beat out Staggs who is just a centre.

*I think you want to have three fullbacks, three hookers and 4 maybe even 5 guys who can play half to cover for the worst case scenario. You don't want to go into a live game 3 with JAC as your fullback or something.
Someone like Wighton might be one of those halves even though he is actually starting centre, then the roster spot for backup half is actually a centre.

Agreed. Staggs is a bad example though mate. He's one of the most versatile players in the comp. He can play wing, centre, back row, and halves. Irrelevant now though (did his ACL).

Interested in what a top 17/27 looks like to everyone else. I'll give it a shot but could be a long way off.

1. Tedesco
2. Mansour
3. Wighton
4. Cotric
5. Addo carr
6. Keary
7. Cleary
8. Klemmer
9. Cook
10. Hass
11. Cordner
12. Matterson
13. Jurbo

14. Papenhauzen
15. Murray
16. Campell Gillard
17. Paulo

18. McInnes
19. Finucane
20. Tupou
21. Lomax
22. Walker
23. Moses
24. Crichton
25. Gutherson
26. D Saifiti
27. Nofa/Crichton/who knows. Probably short a centre/winger or two

Probably missed a bunch but that's a pretty handy squad.

Even if I didn't expect to play him I think I'd still pick McGuire, experienced passionate camp body that you know will do a decent job in the middle if you did have to play him.

Just what some of the senior players will want to do,
stay in the bubble for another 5 weeks to play a city v country series. Nope...

Don't think anyone suggesting they're looking to play City vs Country mate

No Ronnie named in Qld initial squad (players not in week 2 of finals) so that's a Shark free series we have to look forward to

Although they have named Ponga so he may yet drop out.

Titans have more players named for SOO than Brisbane for first time ever, although I guess remains to be seen if they actually get more played than Brisbane (they probably do)
