Sheez, no room in the modern game for the Versatile Clubman who can kick? Tough you fellows. Chuck high $200's at him, incentivised bonus if he can knock CherryWeazel out when we play em. Double if twice.
Yeah, I’d love for him to stick around. I couldn’t fathom getting rid of one of the only players who actually tried this year.Sheez, no room in the modern game for the Versatile Clubman who can kick? I've realised all those players retiring have played at least one game against the Melbourne Storm .Interesting there is a spate of medical retirements just as clubs see who is available for negotiation as of today...

Naa , I meant they could give Cronk absolute minimum whilst playing eg 600K a season for 2 years , but a gentleman's agreement 2 million extra come post retirement as coach .
I’m fine with the haka, but teams should be able to do whatever they want during or in response. Providing they don’t cross the halfway line. Remember when the Irish crowd sang and drowned out the haka? That was great. More of that.
It’s very very precious and quite frankly hypocritical of any New Zealander to have a whinge when teams don’t just stand there quietly and meekly and just watch on passively. The haka is supposed to be a challenge, as far as I’m concerned it is fair game to respond to said challenge any way the opponents see fit, again providing they don’t cross the halfway line. Any Kiwi who disagrees with that sentiment is a hypocrite.

I like the haka and other variants but it’s crazy you’re just required to stand there and be intimidated/challenged and if you do anything at all it’s offensive.
Imagine if you had to sit down with the British and have a cup of tea and a scone. Reckon you'd burn the roof of your mouth in the time you had available. Count your blessings.

As a Maori you want the Haka accepted and challenged in whatever way your team, fans, people feel is the best way to do it! I don't know of any Maori who found that action or other actions like walking forward etc disrespectful, The only problem I think was the breaking of the halfway line I could be wrong but that is a Rugby rule?
