Thanks mate.

Yep it is a heap of coin to have in three players alright.

DCE has about 6 yrs left on his contract and both turbos now there for 6 years it leaves little for the remainder, wonder is Des is doing backend payment deals which didn't work out too well at the Dogs.

Hate Manly with a passion but if I was a supporter, I would be excited and pencilling in at least 1 GF win in the next 6 years.

DCE and both turbos are all in aussie side, their respective state sides, in their prime, in key positions, play with passion and have the will to win. Dessy just needs them to be fit and on the paddock.

Dunno mate. They're depth was horrible this year and that's only going to get worse now.

Wonder if this will all blow up down the track in typical Des fashion. Let's hope so.

How poorly he handled that **** at the dogs go back ended contracts changed drastically. NRL now requires why contracts are back ended to be justified and have to accept it.
Caused them too many headaches.

With the common theme atm, Des will just look to medically retire them if they’re doing bad

Just putting it out there .
IF one Big Pay signing is released .
Let's say Moylan.
Would you be tempted to then offer Capewell a decent contract to stay and be a permanent bench alrounder ? If so what would be a win / win amount $380K ?

It's a no for me. Rather give Billy, Rudolf and Wilton more opportunity.

I would, and i'm guessing maybe that's why he's made no move announcement. Things happening in background.

Agree, he's not needed.

He's chasing a start too which we can't offer.

We haven't even had Ramien's contract approved yet so I guess that is priority 1 once someone goes.

I still don't love hooker depth and the 13 is a bit of an unknown at this point too so i'd rather them over Capewell.

He wouldn't be getting paid now either since we've gone past 31 October.

You'd think he'd be keen to sign somewhere pretty soon.

True, although if he has been relatively smart with his money he should easily be able to afford to sit for a bit while he tries to get his preferred job.
If he hasn't been then might need to snap an offer up soon.
