Can't stand watching Melbourne games, it's just non stop C. Smith throwing forward passes for 80 mins

Him and a Bulldogs player were both going for a ball on the ground and Cam threw himself into the dog and then went on to complain extensively to the ref that the dogs player had done something to him.

Nothing even happened, and if it had it was his own fault... **** off Cam

With the knights being 1/4 is Nathan browns job on the line over the next month or so?

Was meant to reviewed after round 8. Manly in Newcastle next week then Gold Coast away then Parra at home. Rd 8 is Warriors away. You'd think he would need to be at least 4 from 8 to be safe. The entire town was convinced that the Knights would walk into the 8. Apparently it isn't that easy

Don't think so, not yet anyway.

They wanted to see improvement which has probably been the case so far. They could very easily be 3 and 1.

his team is still kinda **** in various areas on paper but it's far better than the reserve grade squad he had years ago. prob a bit rough to axe the bloke that has rebuilt the squad after bennet and has made them competitive but at the same time I wouldn't give a **** if they did axe him - the more chaos at newcastle knights the better.

IMO they will need a new coach to take them to next level and start reliably challenging in finals but I would let Brown see out his contract.
If he starts making top 8 consider keeping him on.

Doesn't Brown have a really fluid contract. Think they can ******* him whenever they want.

Why do we want to know how a Storm bench player went mate?

2019 General NRL thread. I think someone playing NRL in 2019 generally fits the thread.

Why do "we" wanna know some of the stuff you ask?

Didn't Ponga just sign a new contract. Depends what clauses he has in there regarding coaches

Ponga won’t stay in Newcastle forever. His contract expires 2021, but could definitely see him joining the Broncos once that is up.
