Wayne Bennett had perhaps the potential to be a legend .
Stayed on , then got exposed as a hypocrite .
Zero Street credit any more .

Wayne not coaching All Stars anymore. Mal 'The Moral Compass' Meninga has taken over.

NRL being poorly promoted is nothing new.

A 7-1 premiership record.. mate he is a legend. A hypocritical old **** (name me a coach who isn't in it for himself & his team and I'll show you a looser coach) but a legend nonetheless. Thats just his record with GFs without me googling anything else but I'm pretty sure Brisbane never missed finals under Wayne.

Still managed to squeeze the bare minimum from his team in though. 100K rookie Dave Meade was the Broncos' only contribution the match from what I remember.

Last year he sent a Holden Cup player. Next year they might get Alfie

With regard to Wayne Bennett.

Every club that he has left, has sacked his replacement soon after.

Ivan Henjack
Steve Price
Rick Stone

None of these coaches will go down as a great, and Wayne's coaching record is super .

However Wayne's legacy must include the fact that he leaves behind ageing rosters, back ended contracts and salary cap disaray for someone else to deal with, contributing to the demise of the replacement coach as well as years of re building.

Didnt catch most of second half but thought our boys made a good account of themselves, even Beale was doing some good things.
They all had a crack

Jai Field looks good for the Dragons, had an "up and down" performance last night, played at the back and in the halves. Will be a brilliant player if he learns to tackle, they should move him to fullback long-term IMO.

Korbin Sims will be a beast for Broncos he was good in the trial against us and put on another good performance last night, Brodie Croft had 3 assists for Melbourne coming back from 18-0 down to win 30-18 against the Warriors, Kayne Elgey was the best on field for the Titans and plenty of Penrith fans raving about Te Marie Martin.

Have only relayed what I was reading on the socials!

Would be the stupidest move the nrl has ever made, and that's saying something.
