for the last time though, turn the ****ing PA system down a bit during the match. Or aim the speakers up a bit so they dont just go straight at peoples heads.

Yeah I'd be happy if they enclose the shark tank inside a sound proof box, no offense, but those drums are ****ing annoying and suck all the atmosphere out of the crowd.
Love the passion you guys show but take the drums to a music festival or something

No offence taken.
I'm still not fully sold on the drums but we still use them, however quite a few people like it. So for the time being they will be staying .

also reckon we need to bring in the guy who sells hot dogs from his driveway, to sell them at the gate, for which the club takes no takings from. Bloke was a legend and cooks better than our kiosk

what about the supporters that have season seats their not going to leave them to go to the shark tank.
the bar on the south eastern hill only ever has 1 window open, line nearly goes down to the scoreboard

far out those drums are so annoying, we sit on the eastern concourse just close enough to hear the annoying banging.
might be ok for you dudes that sit in the southern stand.

I have season seats however haven't hsed them much this year. there are several people who have season seats as well but they come down because of the atmosphere in tank.
I am actually in the tank not in the southern stand.
If you have ideas to improve game day ie: Atmosphere and so on . Do shot them thru as it's worth a try.

My 2 cents as an interstate member for the past 5 years.

Snap back cap... not a crappy velcro cap. OR the option to choose. I have purchased the snap backs two years running as the hats provided are rubbish. Look at what the players are wearing in press conferences etc that is what the fans want..

Beanie is a good idea but its got to be a folded cuff beanie simiiar to the NFL style ones slightly oversize, not a cheapie style scull cap one. The ones with the pom poms would be rad.

Bring back the scarf, I liked collecting the members scarf.

Members jersey back is a good idea I'll buy it again.

The voucher for interstate members to redeem is a pain in the ass. I redeemed mine when I went to game in Sydney but for my old boy its just a hassle. Putting the scarf back in would solve this.

Cheers

You arent going to get a 40 dollar hat with your members pack mate. Will never ever happen.

You get that ****, cos its cheap to have made in bulk lots. I do understand what you mean though, but it wont happen. They wont commission New Era caps to be made for a few orders.

You were able to use the voucher on the online store too by the way.

At the end of the day you get memorabilia. Our stickers.....theyve been ****, the 2013 one was cool, just a sharks logo with 2013 member on it. Simple. I have seen last years RED V one and it was a jersey cut out sticker with RED V 2014 on it. I thought that was a cool idea.

For me, the "musts" for the members pack are a keyring, sticker, lanyard and fixture card. Things like caps and beanies can be bought with the voucher. I've enjoyed collecting the keyrings each year, even the rape whistle, so I was disappointed when there was none this year.
Also, apart fron Rothfield, do we have any other high profile members? It might be worthwhile to give away memberships to our more famous supporters so they can be seen in the grandstands with us plebs.

Thanks for your thoughts mate.

Just a heads up, doesn't need to be a new era cap.. I can purchase premium quality snap back caps for $5.25 wholesale, the two colour embroidery would cost around $5.00 so there is a cost of $10.25 inc GST, if the club sold a snap back cap for $25 instead of $50 they would sell bucket loads of them. The other hat would still cost around $8 to produce on such a short run. I'll happily tick a box and make a selection to get a more expensive hat...

The voucher can be used online absolutely but have you ever seen what the stock levels are like on the online store? Not a single medium or large in anything decent at points...

you will probably find that by using the NRL's logo (which the Sharks logo is i believe) they would be limited to what they can do in terms of what brand of cap etc etc. Its not as easy as just getting vistaprint to make you up some caps.

FTR id love them to do a members truckers cap or something

I like vouchers so that I can add in some extra $$$ and get something I want and will wear rather than something I'll give away.

I see Members as a whole like sponsors and having a unique piece of Members' apparel without the sponsor logos would be ideal - won't happen though.

Question for the audience - is there a parking option available now that the development is happening in the membership ?. I swear I recall a few years back you can add parking or cheaper parking but that was when we had the adjacent field to park on.

or am I imagining things ?

On a side note, I wasn't able to get to many games this year (***** fan I know) but I hope the club is really listening to those who do attend games and have constructive feed back on the game day experience, that's what will bring the member back thick and fast - things like shoddy speakers, annoying announcer, long beer lines, 4 day old meat pies etc. It seemed like Gorman was big on that when he took over at the beginning of the year so I have faith that after a year under his belt he's going to keep it up !

For the last 2 years, the car passes have only been offered to platinum members. I dont know who uses all the other spots in the club carpark.
