Same as it ever was..
Agreed – it's how designs become iconic.I'm ok with that, prefer it not to change
As much as I love the hoops and how iconic it is, we definitely need to refresh.
The Reebok jersey is more iconic then the hoops one imo - if iconic is the route the Sharks are going for then this hoops jersey is just mehAgreed – it's how designs become iconic.
That said I preferred it with the larger chest hoop.
I love the Reebok jersey but the hoops is more iconic, far more people would associate that with us imo.The Reebok jersey is more iconic then the hoops one imo - if iconic is the route the Sharks are going for then this hoops jersey is just meh

I prefer without but also I think they don’t look anywhere near as bad worn as they do in just the imageI agree that we could be more creative with the away strips.
Although the black version does prove the hoop looks better without the sleeve ones.
When does the classic deal end?
As if even our heritage light blue jersey we wear with the collar even better than the hoopsThe hoops were integral for around for about 30 years before the Reebok versions, and still are a big part of our signature look.
That's probably the closest to the definition of "iconic" as you can get...
That 98 heritage jersey is schmick. As if even our heritage light blue jersey we wear with the collar even better than the hoops
No it does not, but it does have to do with the definition of iconic, and people that use the word in this context."Iconic" has nothing to do with which design is "better" or "worse".
You used it correctly. To say 1 isn't iconic because another 1 looks better doesn't work. It could be a universally hated design but still iconic. No it does not, but it does have to do with the definition of iconic, and people that use the word in this context.
