Caps considered cheap & **** (flat brim, plastic strap, weird material, faded out) are $60 & the go now.

Agreed – it's how designs become iconic.

That said I preferred it with the larger chest hoop.

As much as I love the hoops and how iconic it is, we definitely need to refresh.

Our heritage version of the 98 jersey was an absolute ripper, wish they went with that and instead of the teal, they put our regular sky blue.

I love the Reebok jersey but the hoops is more iconic, far more people would associate that with us imo.

I'm digging what they're doing at the moment, keeping the main jersey consistent but bringing back killer heritage jerseys each year.

The overall quality/designs could improve but I like the overall approach.

The hoops were integral for around for about 30 years before the Reebok versions, and still are a big part of our signature look.

That's probably the closest to the definition of "iconic" as you can get...

Although the black version does prove the hoop looks better without the sleeve ones.

I prefer without but also I think they don’t look anywhere near as bad worn as they do in just the image

You used it correctly. To say 1 isn't iconic because another 1 looks better doesn't work. It could be a universally hated design but still iconic.
