LOL I thought they were due! Reminds me of a certain NRL club.....
Remember one year they had the Legends of Origin game where all the old heads came back and played a game. Blocka got dacked and Brett Kenny (?) was going to score a great try before celebrating too early and dropping the ball.

Izzy dogged us plain n simple, he had given Ricky his word that he would take the deal if we could get him a minimum 350k first year deal to be back ended, izzy was the one that contacted ricky to play not the other way round.
I think we have dodged a bullet anyway that would have taken up too much of our cap in the next 3 years..
My information was spot on, not taking into account he would dog us and break a handshake deal

Considering that you were most probably the only team that could of come close to matching his price at this time of the year i'm sure whatever he was offered would of worked out fine for you.
