My guess is the NRL are looking at a players last contract and worked it off that and if that's the way they are doing it then I see that as fair, the BS that happened with the Dragons and Gaz was wrong and shouldn't have happened but gallop didn't have the balls to call them on it good to see them stand up for once its how it should be.

What has the NRL lost I would say nothing.

What has Parra lost? well that's nothing as well as they never had him in the first place.

But I bet a number of players would have learnt a lot about this don't trust your manager.

So Issy turned his back on NRL again.

My opion is who the **** cares.

While he may be a good athlete, I hate it when the media and their managers talk the players up so much that there turds become gold plated.

The game is bigger than a hand full of players and a bucket full of gold turds.

Hahahahahaha @ Penrith. They've lost Wallace, Graham, Sammut. They obviously don't know how to nurture these boys. I'll be having a right laugh when Tom Humble runs out with 6 on his back. But in saying this, Matt Moylan will kill it for them if he gets a chance.

All very true mate ... But anything that puts NRL on the back page of the papers during the offseason isn't all bad for the game ...

Apart from attempting to win the comp we need to focus on securing TC beyond 2013 and finding 1 more class back for 2014.

If i hear about us signing another forward using Toups money or entertaining the thought of keeping him before we secure a centre of note that will do me!

they seriously have no idea mate.................their fans will be so off them and expect their crowd figures to drop even more

And I was told by a few Panther fans that membership prices for next year have risen, for the first time in a few years.

Did anyone else see this comment? A bit of an insult to the greats of the game imo.

RUGBY LEAGUE WEEK'S founding editor Geoff Prenter is a great judge of player and he says Sonny Bill Williams is the best he has ever seen. "I'm talking Raper, Fulton, Langlands, Lewis - you name it - I have not seen a player like him and I don't know when we will see one better,''

To me, the greatest player of all time would have to excel in all facets of the game.

That includes running, tackling, passing, kicking, etc etc etc.

He's big, strong and can offload. He's great in that way. But let's not get carried away. Particularly, considering his relatively low number of first grade appearances in Rugby League.
