I don't care if my post was woeful it was on topic which is good enough and then you get someone worrying about how you have written it, who cares.

I really don't think the titans will get top 4 this year

Why not?

They've managed it the last two years, only the goons have won more games than the Titans in the last two years. While Rogers is a reasonable loss, he is the only one - and depth in all positions has increased. The core of the team has been together for a few years now, one of few teams with proven halves options, plus alot of good young talent waiting to get in. What are your thoughts???

my thoughts are, bailey is your only good prop and is injury prone, but you have the youngs guys to back it up.
your back row is solid, top 5 in the comp.
your wingers are a gold mine, your centers are crap.
prince and campbell are getting on a bit, so injuries will play a big part.
im picking top 6, meaning anywhere from 1-6 for the titans, but this is the last year unless you have a big recruitment year

I like the tits so don't think i'm having a go at them but I think they haven't been able to get to the GF and don't seem to bring their A game in the finals, on them not making the 4 they are another year older presto has already said he wants to go to the bench and most other teams have recruited well and can only get better whereas the titans can't really improve as the team is basically unchanged

There is abit of age in the Top 17, but they have been copping that sort of critism for two years now and continue to dish out the humble pie. Matt White did well for us last year aswell.
Agree with the backrow comment.
Agree with the wingers\centers comment. Although I think there is talent there to fix the center problem that has plagued us every season.
Injuries play apart in any teams success. Alot of people are predicting another big year for the Tigers, but what are the chances of Benji going 2 two years without injury?
Prince is getting there but isn't that old, Campbell continues to defy all laws of physics, this year is probably his last but I think he will be a weapon off the bench if used properly.
There is alot of talent on the verge of retirement, but there is just as much coming through. To be able to let go talent like Tongia speaks alot for the pool of talent in waiting.

Their finals appearances have been disappointing, but the younger team members take alot from that. Titans have been improving every year since their inception. I think Preston going to the bench will be awesome, some fans were calling for it last year. We have so many young guys that are devastating at Fullback ready to take that position (Zillman, S Walker, ect). Bringing Preston off the bench late in the halves will make every forward pack shudder - I cant wait to see it!

sorry i said top 6...

now im saying bottom 4

Change of mind after just the first 3 rounds?
Hang in there mate, the cream always rises to the top ;)

... and if it hangs around for too long it gets curdled and goes sour!

the age factor mate, + none of your guys look like they wanna play football
The 'age factor' has been getting thrown around for awhile, yet our forward pack has won every battle this year and our results are on the board for the last two years. Prince is only 6mths older than your 'cream' Gallen, and Campbell's retirement plan is already in effect.

This years attack has been in disarray, but it will only take one game for that to click back into gear - I predict that will happen when Nathan Friend gets back on the field and starts giving Prince some decent service again. Prince owned the competition last year as far as getting repeat sets then scoring from them. He'll be back.

... and if it hangs around for too long it gets curdled and goes sour!
...and that happens even quicker if the electricity is cut and the fridge turns off!
