Caps and Digits, you both brought up good points. It was too long indeed. Do we have to cop an hour of that each and every year? To bring up the same points? I would have enjoyed it a lot more if it had of been half hour. But it dragged on far too long.

I'm not sure who it was, but Gal completely steamrolled someone in that game - not long after the Dugan break and we were in the Indigenous 50... Gal came onto a short ball and ran over someone like they weren't even there - it was great but they didn't show a replay as they were too busy replaying their love-child Dugan and a penalty that came a couple of plays later.

I noticed it, Gidley gave him a flat ball 40m out and he steamrolled I think Prince?

I've gone to both games now and have yet to witness any negative behavior from any supporter or player. Not in the bus lines, grandstands or on the field.

i was there on saturday

the indig fans were awful

i heard the words kill the white c#@nts screamed all game

a lady in front of me was helping her kids with there dinner and someone yelled " sit down ya f@#king white madonna jesus c@#nt" at her

i watched husbands hit there wifes after the game when there were blind drunk

i listened to a woman abuse the bar tender for not selling VB then called him a racist white c@#T for not getting her a VB

when ben hannett was subbed he walked past us and was clapping to the fans, then the indig fans started abusing him and threw stuff at him

when the nrl all stars scored the kickers and players were booed

when the nrl all stars scored the fireworks went off once, when the indig scored they went off twice

and before anyone calls me racist, i was at the game with 9 aboriginal friends and 3 white friends and they were all disgusted in there behaviour.


i got heaps more storys too, i tweeted a few and got called racist for telling the truth

It's only a matter of time mate, the more they focus on one race and not the other, status will bring it all undone. The game itself is not a problem, the problem will be the crowd. Like i said, status will bring thing undone.

I think the whole concept has gone the opposite than what it was ment to. IMO it basically promotes rasicm.To start with pre game talk should be 50/50 not 100% nil, and i have heard some disturbing stories regarding behavior.
Trouble is in this day and age if you have a different opinion yes you are labelled a racist and that is just not good enough.

i got called racist coz i cheered when gallen scored

all the pre game stuff at the ground was one sided, which didnt really bother but the way the fans acted was rooted

Needs to be scrapped, some players played over 30 games (i could be wrong) last year and gameshy like this seem like a waste of time and physical health

Scrap it, i say we are all aussie and that is it, none of this segregation crap by creating 2 teams of labelled aussies to play eachother, and while they are at it when it comes to laws and the justice system and someone is getting charged with assault, murder, drug dealing etc, give everybody the same treatment and the same jail lengths and stop letting people off because they are part of any race.

Why not have an all-indigenous State Of Origin type game that showcases the best of indigenous talent across the land in its place.

Treat it like a big Corroboree that is the culmination of a week long Indigenous pride festival.

Top post. The problem with it is when you have something that is solely dedicated to one particular group, when you get those people from that group attend they tend to feel superior, like that event belongs to them and no one else. And everyone else doesn't deserve to enjoy the day.

good idea, but id say the fans would turn on each other pretty quick.


the all stars idea isnt the problem its the attitude of certain fans.

its pretty bad that i had to walk my mrs to the toliet because she didnt feel comfortable going by herself.


on the positive side skilled park put on a good show and the transport after the game was awsome
