Toby is a good forward when fit and able to string consecutive games together over a period of time.
All of our regular top 17 front row forwards actually have had this issue falling out of form after suspension or injury.

But with back to back and more games their potential comes through again and they even carve it up at times or at least start to perform consistently.

Toby gives us work rate, tackles and some good quick carries and he is capable of being aggressive at times and busting the line. Errors are frustrating but that can be every player really.

Defs not in the plodder category in what I consider the traditional sense., Oregon is the soild/plodder type.

Toby still has an important role to play for us at the Sharks and off the grog and getting fit we might not have even seen his best just yet.

Toby is a a bloody good third choice prop if that's where we get to. AFB obviously #1 and maybe BHU #2 if he fires and we keep him.

Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Problem is he's been arguably our best prop and that's not his fault.

Some weeks Toby is one of our best players on the park, forward or otherwise.

He trys to play the ball too quick sometimes while tangled up or being wrestled, mistakes come from that but he is trying to help the teams momentum at that time. He isn't just a mong with butter fingers.

You're about to evoke a graph, mate :D
Haha not this time, but repeated comments like that did inspire me to track error locations starting in round 1 this year :)

Harsh but fair! And as Chadley said he does indeed love a good drop of the ball at the worst moments in the game.
Have covered this one in great detail. Go back a few pages.

Probably a fair summary for any front rower. Biggest impact they can have on a game is fast ptbs, but they need to find a balance between "fast" and "too fast". Kaufusi and Williams are really good at this. Dale too if you want to bundle him in with the props.

Toby, I find I want to dry hump him after some awesome efforts and then poke a finger in his eye for dumb mistakes or penalties at least twice every game.
Glad he is ours though.

Thought Toby looked like he's trimmed down a bit. I think coming off the bench is perfect for him.

Made some good charges , good leg drive, his upper body seems kinda awkward to wrap up at times by defenders. only missed 1 tackle

Kafusi is taking some pressure off him I feel which has helped as he builds himself back up post turf toe

Toby was excellent. Looks at full strength. To think at the start of the season we were worried about our forward depth
