We need forwards to replace aging warriors, not aging backs to slow us down

I doubt the players would have done the wrong thing if a final was coming up. He did the same to Peach last year when he had both his starting centres on the sideline and Peach was almost the form centre in the back half of the year. I am scared about this weekend.

Lets' call it as it is...Rothfield would take every alternative position against the Panthers. You could set your watch to him having something negative to say about them. His personal loathing of Gould is blinding. I personally think the coach did the right thing. Look at the drama created...

Who will square off in the 2017 Grand Final?

To answer the question properly, Penrith versus Cowboys. As much as I'd love a repeat, I sort of feel like last year was a perfect storm for the Sharks

Who will square off in the 2017 Grand Final?

I can't see anyone getting past Penrith this year. They have great depth and a mixture of youth and experience.

I hear what you are saying but it is still another negative story about our club. I am sure the coach put the CEO in this situation, not the other way around. However, this BS about supporting one another, standing side by side, drinking 6 beers together etc is not washing with me. He needs to...

Is this bloke really the answer to the problems at Cronulla? I listened to him bumble his way through the MMM interview the other night and he sounded like a bloke out of his depth. I agree that things need to be kept behind doors on most occasions. However, occasionally, you need to fess up and...

Cheers. You can take the boy out of Yarrawarrah but you can't take the Yarrawarrah out of the boy.

Has Chad been told he is not wanted by the Warriors? Looking at their line up next year, compared to ours, I am pretty confident I know which team has more chance of winning the premiership. Unless they have a plan B in NZ, I can't see him back in the Shire next year.

Cartwright isn't going anywhere. Penrith see him as a future captain. Ivan put him back to NSW Cup last week after he lost Wallace and brought in Kite to add experience. End of story. Bryce is the son of Dave (who played a bit of first grade in the early 80's). Aside from not letting Bryce go...

Watched him play yesterday....went alright. Gus isn't going to let him go this year. They have the luxury of having a capable halfback replacement if one of their first choices go down. I doubt he will be at Penrith next year as he is a first grader and could go to a club like Cronulla and have...

Good point about Carney. In saying that, Cronulla was entrenched in the top 4 that year and the harmony within the club was high. I would argue that if the same scenario was being played out today, he would've left. I hope Gorman will change things but right at the moment, our appeal to the...

I am not sure if some of you realise but the majority of managers keep their players away from Cronulla. We are only used for bargaining tools to increase contract values. The club is keen to buy talent but the talent isn't keen to come here. Besides Bird, we haven't signed a young gun since...
