Has Chad been told he is not wanted by the Warriors? Looking at their line up next year, compared to ours, I am pretty confident I know which team has more chance of winning the premiership. Unless they have a plan B in NZ, I can't see him back in the Shire next year.

I think it's more him wanting to come back home mate.

Cheers. You can take the boy out of Yarrawarrah but you can't take the Yarrawarrah out of the boy.

Haha. You're right though, if it came down purely to a choice of playing lists you'd be 100% staying there next year. They will be great to watch.

Well it's been reported it's pretty much a done deal so we'll see and as mentioned already he wants to come home for family reasons.

I'm not fully in support of the signing of Chad but he's an upgrade on Robson. Just hope we sign him to a realistic length contract and keep our options open. Two years with a third in our favour pehaps.

Two years is enough. Should only be seen as an interim solution imo unless he shoots the lights out.

The only posative on idris from my point of view is atleast once every 6/8 games he takes it upon himself to create his own opportunities by using his size to his advantage, sadly I see him as another taga like signing a lot better coaches than flanno havnt been able to unlock the secret within either of them

Wouldn't it be great if Blake Austin suddenly had a row with Ricky and he wanted to leave. How much would he be worth now?

Yeah Austin's certainly proved a lot of people wrong. We got Bird though, and he's doing plenty good in the same style of running five eighth.

Bundy let's just say getting 1 from 2 right is a lot better rate of success than most of the blokes that frequent this thread.

I never did understand why people here bagged Austin. I really did hope we got him and was disappointed that Sticky got him.

I think it was fair enough from Penrith, like they had some pretty decent spare halves in Will Smith and Isaac John and had signed Soward and Wallace. Also had a bunch of young second rowers.

But Tigers, that was dumb of them, that's for sure. They got all caught up in the hype of the youngsters they completely ignored this dude on the up in a big way. He could have even played 2nd row/Hooker for them in the way that Halatau is this year, considering their back row stocks looked real weak.
