You blokes are beyond retarded.

Our team was undefeated for 16 rounds straight, we played the toughest game of our season last week and played tonight's game against a fresh Raiders team? What did you expect?

Thank God for some common sense .
I wasn't happy about losing or happy with the match officials .
However on the other hand , not devastated either .
Saw enough tonight to be confident that we CAN and WILL roll this mob in the semi's .
Ennis will make a world of difference and when we're not flat and fatigued and on our game , we more than have their number .
Next weekend will be our turning point when we absolutely smash the Dragons .Bring it on !

Titans showed how to do us and everyone has taken notice of this. Line speed to put pressure on the ball receiver when defending and go up the middle in attack. We have become predictable and need to change.it up with kicks over or behind the rushing defenders, something to put them in two minds. The other thing that sacked tonight.were our hit ups. So many of these went back into the ruck for bugger all metres and no second phase at all. It's time to give tags a stint in ressies, Beale too if Ricky is fit. I think it has been time for.a.couple of weeks actually. Hopefully super flanno can sort it all out

Not sure what to make of tonight's game. Firstly I only saw bits of it and listened on the radio.

But it didn't come as a surprise. I've backed us every game this year except for this one. I just thought the a Raiders would dominate and outmuscle us. Getting up for 16 undefeated games has to take its toll at some point mentally. The bashing from the Titans and the five day turnaround takes care of the physical side. Considering how poor we would have been tonight in both departments makes it amazing we got within 16 points of them. They should have won by much more.

We missed Ennis obviously. This week we rest up, get Mick back in there, play smarter and belt the Dragons. Should really be able to take them apart. But it will be a local derby and we know they are always physical encounters.

The Storm again get away with an improbable win, the amount of luck they get is amazing. 40 secs to go and no one would ever predict someone would make a tackle like Cook did.

Anyway, beat the Dragons next week and we should finish top two.

As former Australian fast bowler Fred "Demon" Spofforth said back in the first Ashes Test in 1882, "This thing can be done."

Considering how awful we were, or more importantly tired, and considering the huge question marks over two of the raiders tries, and of course the lack of Ennis, it's not a bad result.

We may play again first round of the finals. And injuries aside I'd be pretty confident.

I think the effort was there but raiders did a great job shutting down our attack. Going wide didnt work and its scary to think we kinda look lost when throwing it wide didnt work

After watching Newtown today, I'm convinced our team would be stronger with Capewell on the bench. He's a real handful and knows how to score tries. Would add an impact and X factor off the bench.

And we didn't adjust. When teams rush up in defence, you change your attack to exploit that, and we didn't.

Totally agree. He looked very comfortable in his debut. I think we need to look at bringing him in next week against the dragons and keeping him there for the run home. Taga might be having a spell so could be his chance.

But, but he never said "Special" or "Retarted" nor was there any sign of his mighty big dick in what you quoted?

By the way, what is a "Retarted" anyway? And why so jealous of his apparently mighty big dick.

From experience over many years, B&B may say things that offend, however often it's only to those who are special, retarded or have small dick syndrome. Hope this helps

Who would you have him in place of? I think he could be the "fourth" reserve, in place of the hooker/back when Ennis returns.

I really think we need a big middle forward on the bench, possibly to replace one of tags/heino/bukuya. How is JSL playing? I'm assuming he's not setting the world on fire.

I havent watched any replays at all, what did the tries/no tries look like. The townsend no try looked at the ground on the screen to be the right call however it went up a try and the bunker didnt spend much time looking at the offside. I think its time we got a digital line in the bunker

Rapanas try to me look like he dropped it while grounding, i actually thought that live

Wightons (i think) i could handle, priors flop pushed him forward. If it wasnt a try theyd have got a penalty for the flop

Whightons was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. There were three parts to it and people are getting confused.

1. He is tackled.
2. Another Sharks defender tackles him, propelling him slightly towards the try line but still short.
3. He hops his upper body off the ground, changes angle and propells himself over the try line.

The worst part is (2) didn't lead to a tackle bust. The first defender was enacting the tackle the whole time.

Yeah Chad def half a step in front, rapana dropped it but when they do that freeze frame crap it distorts it fair bit, rolled out the back of the hand no way known there was downward pressure, austins thought we pushed him over the line to score don't think he even needed to do a second effort to be honest, I'm sure he may have even hit the line when prior had him sliding into goal. With a 7 day then a 9 day break I'm hoping it will freshen us up and get rid of a few bruises and niggles. Our best team playing well puts us right in it this year so like to think we will soon shine.

Leilua threw a forward pass from the tap off the penalty before their first try - which rapana spilled putting down anyway.

One thing I did notice last night was how bad our passing game was, even by our regular halves. We seemed to throw a lot of passes that weren't on the chest. Also thought chad and maloney took some very poor options in the kicking department close to the line. That little chip close to the line from maloney i think it was was just silly and a nothing kick.

We have another 5 days turn around coming up from the souths game to the roosters game so that's going to be interesting to see how we handle that situation

Yes! Yes! Yes! Time to give him another game. His enthusiasm and speed give us an edge.
