But they both have established hookers. Jake Friend is better than Segy and McCollough is, in my opinion, a Bennett style hooker.

I'm not saying we will get him, but I don't think he would go to either of those clubs.

We've got an establised hooker as well.

I was just using them as an example of a big money club or a club that would be more attractive with better facilities, better coach etc. Might not be the those two clubs but I still think he'll go elsewhere before he comes to us. I'd like to think I was wrong though.

In the end, if Ennis was our option for 2017, I'd be very happy with that.

Segy is really good mates with Wade. I reckon that could play a small factor. Throw good money at Segy and I don't see why we wouldn't be a chance.

Fair enough mate, I wasn't aware of that. I have to admit, I can't keep track of who is mates with who.

I'm not saying there's no chance but I think it would only be a small one.

Edit: Sorry, just looked back at my previous post and realised I said we had no chance. Oh well. Can't be right all the time.

I think the whole mates thing is overrated in these sort of things. Segy will go to whoever pays him the most and whoever has the most potential to help him win a comp.

Is that why you're unemployed

You're right though I doubt the he's got a mate here thing plays into it too much. A heap of mates at a certain team might play a small factor but at the end of the day money is the major factor for nearly all players.

Settle petal no ones trying to make out you said anything. If anything we are just backing up the small factor statement, it's just a conversation on a forum as the friend card does seem to get pulled out for a lot more than it's worth on a regular occasion.
