besides that try he set up he has been rather garbage both games.

The positive out of all of this is that we won well today that was with both ennis and maloney having very poor games.
Agree. Needs to reign it in a tad, he's not our only source of attack this year.

One of his worst games in a sharks jersey IMO. Still won though so doesn't bother me all that much

Anyone else see him square up with the ref and blow his imaginary whistle again?

Might have been Holmes try?

Yep he hit the TRY sign then blew the whistle right infront of the ref, had me and the missus in stitches.

I'm a big fan of Mick (Ennis, not the other one :p) but he really just needs to let Chad and Maloney run the show from now on. Over played his hand a bit too much and the knock on from the scrum was downright embarrassing as was the one he dropped on halfway, albeit the pass wasn't great.

Ennis is a great bloke to have on the field though, his presence instills a bit of belief in the side and you can't replace experience. Just want him to pull back a bit from running the show. He doesn't need to.

Yeah he didn't have a great game but the pass from Maloney was the issue in that one.

no prize for second place mate.

Thought he improved yesterday and we seemed to spread the ball more yesterday, maybe that comes down to gal not being out there but I thought he toned down his involvement yesterday compared to the first round.

I still want to see him trying those short balls close to the line as I believe it is a effective move as we do have some powerful forwards and it's a proven tactic but he just needs to play more what's in front of him as some of those plays he does go short aren't always on

His penalty for the strip was a killer for me but looking at the replay he wad trying to do a one on one and after viewing it he wasn't to far from achieving it as the second defender came right near the end of the process of him stealing it.

Love Ennis, quality player but yea he is doing way too much in attack - needs to remember that he is the dummy half, not the actual half

Agree re his attack, although he wan't the only one with handling probs yesterday But his defence around the rucks with their big guys was really top of the[/B] wozza

Yep, maybe I'm being a bit harsh but I didn't see the Cowboys game so it was hard for me to compare. Just don't want him to get sucked into the Gal syndrome.

Read that he'll be getting that 1 year extension with us. Apparently he asked for 2 years but the club said they'll only offer 1 because of the junior talent at 9 coming through should be ready by 2018.

Our SG ball and Harold Matthews Teams did exceptionally well last year and the Under 20s have started the year with exceptional form so we must have some good young guys coming through that we need to retain. If we gave him a 1 year deal, we could always re-evaluate next year.

Had 16 try assists last year and we want him to slow down. Fmd.

We don't want him to stop ball playing we want him to pick and choose his moments more carefully now that we have other options. Ennis has already forced a play a few times when it wasn't on with other options available. He can afford to wait for a real chance now.

We have Jayden Brailey who played in the Nines and is now captain of the NYC team, also his brother is in the SG Ball team and someone mentioned he's meant to even better. I think we'll have a good idea by the end of this year or start of next if either are ready.

A player at ennis' age can go from good to bad pretty quickly.

He's had a pretty slow start to the year I'd wait a few more rounds before offering any extensions. I can't see any other clubs fighting for his signature.

Doesn't sound like our club!
