Hello top eight.

Dogs will be tough but we won today without barba and we didn't play our best. I'm more confident we can upset the dogs next week.

But that first 20 was top notch. Best I've seen them play this year. Even Robson wasn't doing too much wrong. And whatever fafita is eating for breakfast....... he is now becoming week in week out one of our best.

The only thing I couldn't figure out from today's game was why we were so determined to let Canberra back into the game so often. 12-4, we should have kicked away, 18-10 we should have kicked away, just can't seem to get two tries or more in front. Always seems to be a dropped ball, missed tackle or a silly penalty that lets us down. Very frustrating.

Canberra are no slouches, even with their current poor record. They started playing high risk attacking football, and with that momentum came some incredibly inept refereeing (can only assume the refs got as excited as everyone else and forgot they weren't spectators), both of which worked for them this time.... At least up til the final glorious field goal.

We did lose our attacking structure for the last 10, and would have been witnessing the usual wrist slitting here without Ennis. Geez he's an amazing player. I even think he's rubbing off on Robbo, he had a pretty good game tonight!

Bloody hell that one was hell of a rollercoaster ride!

Haven't had time to read this thread but my thoughts.....

I've never seen us roll up the field as well as we did today, was awesome stuff. The first 20 minutes was as good as it gets. The second 20 minutes I felt we lost all composure and tried too hard. Terrible pass by Lewis onto Flash's shoulder. Ridiculous kick by Ennis on the 2nd from 20 out. Three bombs in a row to Edrick Lee (2 by Robbo 1 by Wade). Why do we do this??? We did the same thing against Easts, bombing time after time to Tupou. It's just dumb. We should have been up by at least 20 at half time. With Maloney and Chad in the halves I think we'll take advantage of metres and possession better.

Flash. I won't repeat myself here. I have posted my thoughts in his thread.

The refs. We definitely had a good run with them until it counted, and they turned to ****. I'd like an explanation from the ref's boss as to why Fifi's try was not awarded given it was given a try on field? No way known was there conclusive evidence to overturn that.

Anyway, ecstatic to get the 2 points but we need to take advantage of the chances we're creating if we're going to beat Canterbury at Belmore next week.

I thought it seperated briefly after it touched his arm but i wouldnt have said he needed to regather seeing as though he never had possession

I thought his forearm controlled the ball all the way to downward pressure, hence try. Also, if he was interfered with then why wasn't it a penalty try as he came close enough without the interference.

Hypothetically I would have been interested to see what they would have awarded if it was Canberra 'scoring'.

Does anyone reckon Josh Reynolds is in trouble for the next game against us? Saw a couple of quick replays of him tripping Chris Sandow and he's got form for that. I know charges don't come out until Monday but I wouldn't be surprised if he was charged.

Hope not. I'd rather he played.

I'd rather him on the field than Mbye mate. Either way, I think we lose next week.

Yeah it'll be hard to back up with another away win, I'm not confident either. But then again, I haven't been confident for the past four weeks and we've only lost one of those.

Great win men. Watching the post match interview with Sticky absolutely squirming in his seat as the boys celebrated in the background was absolutely priceless. Up Up Cronulla. Go the mighty Sharkies.
Gal you are in my eyes one of our clubs immortals and one of our greatest clubmen.
Great win fellas.

I'll agree on the surface Gordon was *****t .
But if anyone with a RL Brain sat back and delved a little bit deeper , He wasn't as bad as the game circumstances made out .
2 very difficult passes weren't held when attacking the gap . CRUCIFY .
1 dragged over the sideline CRUCIFY .
1 missed conversion CRUCIFY .
Stripped intelligently CRUCIFY
Anything else I missed , probably.... CRUCIFY .
1A.pass to bird 5 mtrs out that Almost cost us big time - CRUCIFY

Early in game , dangerous stepping run .
1 classic tackle on a break away one on one . ( by the way , he is the safest fullback in our club on the quarter line defensively one on one . Done that numerous times at Sharks ) .
Barba like run in the first half amongst traffic .
Couple of nice runs and passes in attack , last one nearly setting up Feki try in extra time .
If either Holmes or Barba experienced his mishaps , the forum would just cop it sweet . ( scapegoat hunters as usual )
Snowy has made his call on Gordon and Gallan and the sheep/wolves follow .
Lutes scores one try and is a God . Beale and Gordon offer truck loads more yet get singled out .
I am happy to be the black sheep regarding Gordon . Skets - Tragic combo , BWB and Snowy will have to eat their words before the season out . Because Gordon will prevail AND do some match winning stuff , the wheel will turn .
If you really want to know why we struggled to put them away it was our 5th tackle kicking options .
ONLY Ennis can hols his head up proudly .

But lets not squabble.:)

Game day people!

I predict that we'll win by a field goal in golden point extra time.

Had to come up to Wagga wagga yesterday trying to get updates with the nrl app.
Pulled into the first pub in Wagga to see the fifita "no try" what a disgrace.

That set of 6 in extra time that lead to the love doctor field was All-time

Ha alot of support for the Sharks here. They
Don't seen to like the raiders for some reason.

Seems be a lot of negative comments of some sharks players.
Will have to watch the reply when I get home.

I still like Gorden in the side (I am not a fan though) having Barba come on later in the game to pick up the tempo works, if anything its something we were missing last night will barba be able to do that
if he plays the first 20?
