So just got back to the hotel from the crown, blind as **** but not down that bad on coin (although a ranga smart ass **** enjoyed pulling black jacks every hand) initial summation of the game was that it could have been a lot worse and we actually walked away with a semi respectable score compared to what it could have been.
I don't know if it was different watching it at the ground half tanked but I thought once we threw away the game plan and played to our strengths and without structure we looked pretty damn good.
If we play an entire game like we did in that second half we will beat most teams.
I reckon we will blow the Gold Coast off the park.
Although if we lose I'm calling that the season.

Can someone tell my why Luke Lewis tried to strip a ball from an attacker on the 5th tackle? Led to antoher try.
He only needed to tackle him and we would have gotten the ball back. Another way to let the opposition score on the 5th.
So many tries against us are scored on the 5th tackle!!!

The top priority for next week must be to get a kicking game. This is absolutely killing us.
Personally I would give Murphy a run @ 6.
This would give us someone on the right hand side that can kick, pass and organise. That side of the field is a train wreck.
I would also replace Beale with Bird and switch Holmes and Gordon , giving us a new look on that side of the field.
