If the players had half a brain (which judging by recent events they probably do not), they would use this experience of coming last in the premier league comp in the world as motivation to do an extra rep in the gym, run an extra lap of the oval, kick an extra 10 goals at training, catch an extra 10 bombs at training. Or for the simpletons, catch an extra 500 passes at training.
Are we going to do a parra and go back to back? Because that was a clear case of a one man band performing as such. Hayne didnt fire, Eels didnt win. We arent a one man band, Yoko broke us up, there is no band, there is no one person in this club that can steer the team. Theres a whole squad that should all look at every single game they played this year and look at the pro's (should only take a few minutes) and the cons, when they see the performances of our wins VS Brisbane and Roosters, that wasnt about desperation, they ran an extra metre on the hit up and they moved up in a line and attacked with their defence.
Every single bloke that plans on playing next season has work to do on their game, the wooden spoon isnt just about the fans pride as their mates put jabs on them, its about a team of players who were not good enough in a season of football. And that needs to be addressed
