They might get to it after they sue the Sharks into oblivion.Agree, but someone needs to sue that prick into oblivion.

They're onbviosly not aiming for the players.
But it appears they've just received what they've been after all along - admissions.
That's what I'm guessing this to be too.
Players now in adversarial position to Coaching Staff - you'd have to think Flanno's job (and others) is untenable.
Players launch action with assistance of RLPA against the Club itself... Mega $$$'s worth of payouts.
I suspect we might hear of a few player resignations too.
Does this mean the end of the club itself?
Can't find a precedent on a banned player successfully suing their employer/coach because they were duped.
It would be interesting to know if there is one.
Statement from David Garnsey, RLPA CEO regarding development in the ASADA investigation.
ASADA has today issued show cause notices to a number of Players who were employed by the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks Football Club in 2011.
If Players wish to respond the ASADA legislation ordinarily gives them 10 days in which to do so, and the Players are now taking advice from their respective legal representatives as to how to proceed.
Players have maintained from the start of the investigation that they are not aware that they had been provided with any prohibited substances.
This investigation commenced 18 months ago and the NRL has already determined there was a serious deficiency in governance at the Club and that it failed to provide Players with a safe workplace.
The Players are now being compelled to explain why they should not be sanctioned and so are effectively being held to account for a failure by their employer to observe their duty of care obligations. The RLPA maintains this situation is inequitable and unreasonable.
This lengthy saga has seen the Players endure enormous public scrutiny and pressure and the RLPA will continue to work with the NRL in respect of the welfare of all Players involved in the Investigation.
The RLPA has no further comment to make at this stage.
I doubt they would get a great deal of $$$. They have missed three games. The punishment itself is nothing. The only way they can sue is for endangering safety. That's what I'm guessing this to be too.

Can the players still be paid whilst banned? I reckon they may be able to sue for lost wages etc..I doubt they would get a great deal of $$$. They have missed three games. The punishment itself is nothing. The only way they can sue is for endangering safety.
That won't amount to much though. It is the safety angle and I suppose damage to reputation that is the problem. It would be pretty rich of them to sue IMO considering they are going to miss three weeks of football. Any Olympic athlete would get two years. They should be grateful to have got out of it unscathed. Can the players still be paid whilst banned? I reckon they may be able to sue for lost wages etc..
they aren't meant to get paid, but really they've already been paid for the backdated period, so???Can the players still be paid whilst banned? I reckon they may be able to sue for lost wages etc..
I reckon its going to come down to 'unsafe work environment' and endangering the players...
Which means that someone will have to try to establish that the peptides concerned are dangerous. Which I'm not sure they'll be able to do.
They have been offered 6 months if they can apply substantial assistanceChanging the subject on the Sharks players & their bans, I wonder what Essendon players might get?
RLPA seems to be hinting towards litigation here:
