I can't imagine that an "offer on the table" doesn't come without a tell us the poop, the whole poop and nothing but the poop. The players still need to provide "substantial assistance"

Probably a few people looking sideways at each other right about now.

Pretty much.... and now the realisation of possible 2 year bans are probably banging down their doors more so than before. Push coming to shove.

However, it's probably only 'select individuals' offered the 1 year back date... i.e roll over.

Yep. It is official. Backdated bans require giving people up. I don't know it it is other players or includes officials though.

I wonder what the players will do.

What worries me more is the 12 players no longer at the sharks. Their actions can cripple us well and truly.

Correct and there is no love lost with some of them. Especially those who didn't leave the Club on good terms.

Hird was sent a show cause notice even though he never took part in any injecting or was present when injections took place. He also claims to have no knownledge of what the program was that was all on Dank and "the weapon" according to him.

A coach who knows it is going on and does not report it or stop it (which in the beginning Flanno did neither) is acting against the WADA code.

He will get a notice I am 100% sure of it.

The only thing flanno didnt do is report it.

The email exchange had him find out about it, say he would tell dank not to inject anyone. Then later that dank had to go cos he kept it up. So by way of evidence, flanno stopped it.

But is there only cause for reporting if it was believed to be a breach in the anti doping code.

So they need to now prove that flanno knew the names and status of the substances dank was administering.

And if it was news to him that there were injections, then i doubt he was aware of what they are. And given what was in knoakes job description, i think he will go before flanno does in that regard

Was thinking about it today that if in 2011 flanno rang asada and said we have a problem, guess who would be the only person left standing back then......Flanno

I don't think Morris would have been offered it.

If you are ASADA you'd be looking at blokes like Gardner, Kelly, Douglas, Stapleton - players that still have the opportunity of a career ahead of them and a future pay cheque to lose.

I don't really see the point in targeting Morris or Best.

Morris has a coaching career too. 2 year ban will set that back a bit

But yeah i was joking. Our luck being they wont offer it to any current shark. My guess would be kelly wright smith douglas snowden.

How did frizell get outta this? Was he not part of the squad that year?
