Wighton and Gutho defending in the centres was a huge reason we lost in 2020. Not sure why you'd go back to that well. Crichton at centre and wighton on the bench makes much more sense.

That's a good QLD side. I can actually see them winning a game or 2 over the blues. They got speed and power across the park.
For the blues toupo and wighton are meh selections for me this year but still plenty of quality throughout that team. Should be a belter of a series with some good individual battles in the forwards, backs and halves.
Just have a feeling QLD are maybe gunna be the better team over the series like maybe QLD are pumped up more, blues bit complacent and have a couple poor individual performances in the mix from some players dunno. Alot of them have played together and club and rep level though so they can fall back onto that.
Bit more of an unknown with some of the QLD team players and combos though
Wasn't really that interested in Origin this year (interest wanes more with every passing year it seems) but once it comes to game time I tune in and its enjoyable to watch. Seeing those 2 teams line ups makes for a mouth watering contest. I look forward to it.

The more respect the Origin teams have for each other less less respect I have for them.
I hope this year they have another new camera... Langer-cam would be good. You'd feel like you were permenantly in the game at halfback.

I'm a Qld supporter but the blues forward pack really worries me. Some massive bodies there which i think the Qld pack will struggle with.
Going go Qld by 2 points but won't be surprised if the blues dominate the middle and blow this one out.

Can't pick it really. QLD are better on paper for me but the home ground advantage is real in origin. Whoever wins this one wins the series IMO.
Isn't it funny. A year ago I thought the blues had the upper hand for the next 3 or 4 years at least.
A year later QLD are right back I'm the mix as per usual.

Missing Turbo and Latrell plays a big part in that. Those two make our back 5 incredible.
