They are a massive loss. Turbo more than Latrell imo.
Turbo more than Latrell because of the extra OOP work he was doing last series however Latrell is a fantastic centre, definitely better than Wighton will be.

The whole Wighton/Crichton thing may prove Freddie to be a genius or a moron TBH
If Crichton never even gets on because no injuries and Wighton plays well that doesn't make it a bad decision in my book, covering for injury is very smart. But if we have to waste an interchange just to stop Wighton getting dominated that is a bad mistake.

Crichton 100% will start tomorrow night.
You'd think that, but at the same time what on earth was the point of naming otherwise if that was always the plan.

Billy is a rookie coach I know but if he falls apart because a centre who was originally not named at centre plays at centre then he's somehow worse than if they had just had no coach at all.

It wouldn't surprise me if Crichton starts at centre but just... what was the point?

Take a bit of pressure off him being his debut.

He's played well in consecutive Grand Finals, would he have really faced an absurd amount of pressure?

Staggs played just as many origin games. Don't think Crichton needs to be babied.

Qld haven't named Cobbo at 18 to slip him in at the last minute and that dude has played 19 NRL games.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I really hope he starts otherwise Fred has a short memory, Wighton was terrible at centre a couple of years ago.

Think he was still very good offensively but yeah he was an absolute liability in D
Certainly an odd one. May prove Freddy much smarter than I because I for sure named Crichton to start and Wighton at 14. Probably Angus getting a gig from me and maybe even starting too over Sims but in saying that Sims was a weapon last series.

Yeah I mean Wighton is the perfect bench player really or so I would have thought.

A half that's not good enough to be the starting half but too good to leave off the field... Wighton is NSW's Connor Tracey
