Broncos were handed this game on a platter

their last try
the chaser was five metres off side - No. 19 he collected our player into the goal. go watch it again

should have been called. ref never did so. next set they score.

changes momentum.
on two other kick chases that the broncos were well well offiside - not called. the game was set unfortunately.

other games these calls are made

Yeah the commentators focus on one or two early calls and ignore the Broncos completely spoiling the ruck the whole rest of the game.

Not bagging him, but he holds a big name, game breaking contract and we’ve been out that player for so long we don’t even realise.
Now that is one you used to not be allowed to say on here
Fifita earned that contract, he’s a sharks legend
I was advocating to try and move him on last season when he was already struggling to make 17 and a lot on here we’re very defensive of him staying just because

I’m not the only one that has noticed how SJ hasn’t put in today and you have a crack at me for raising it. That is total BS.
Then you come back with that ludicrous post.
Maybe you should think about your post!

Nobody brought it up before you did and I was letting it go, even though I asked you to explain why but you never did. But then you decided to post that little cheap shot “careful cant say that” bull**** to have a dig at people who disagreed with you, including me. So yes my reaction was justified and you are better than cheap little **** like that.

We weren’t great but refs were awful that game. We couldn’t but a 6 again, new rule to take (admittedly incorrect) try off us, no high shot on Ramien on break, 4 stripped it off woods but captains challenge held up, so on and so on
Even all the neutrals seem to think we got robbed

agree to disagree
I thought at certain times we got the yardage, and they only had Paas

other circumstances and decisions ruined that game for a victory unfortunately.

Our forwards never got a roll on, Rudolf and Tolman pushed hard but no real roll on at all.

We went up there to win with as few bruises as possible .

A couple of points - the 6 again was put away for the second half ..

The ‘forward tap on ‘ call is an embarrassing even up call to cover up an error …

We won the quinella, lose to last and 2nd last. We get a chance to repeat the performance, surely we can't lose to both of them twice?

I still stand by my post in that SJ seemed like he wasn’t putting in today (disinterested) and others agreed with me. I just happened to be the first to raise it.

The rest of our exchange is just emotion cos we both got pissed at how badly the team was playing against the equal last placed side.
I’m happy to leave it at that and move on.

Slow ruck hurt us a lot in that area
Gamble should have been called for 3 or 4 six Again’s, there was a call of milking once when Haas was just blatantly holding the football

One that really disappointed me was he seemed content to go in goal when he took that kick. Should have fought harder to hit the ground.

Brisbane played extremely well to our weaknesses.

Spread the ball wide and use the explosive outside backs to gain quick, easy metres and an early play the ball. The early play the ball increased the vulnerability of an already poor middle defence, making 60+ metres per set. You’ll win a vast majority of your games when you’re doing that, irrespective of what the level of your skill in your team is.

That was not a ‘tap on’ Action it was a pass action and absolute lie for bunker to call otherwise
Yes correcting missed forward pass but you can’t just make **** up

It’s very hard to ascertain that sort of stuff, so I think the argument that needs to be made now is what has the longer term benefit.

I think it’s pretty clear from today’s game that there is enough in Trindall that we really should be giving him a long run for the rest of the year to potentially solidify him as the option next to Hynes.

Bunker can’t rule on forward pass (as we all know). That was just a total BS call to cover up the touchies FU (as we all agree on).

teig went ok
rudolf was doing well. even FOX acknowledged it throughout the game - his defence was good
talakai just didn't have enough minutes, tolman kept turning up. williams was good
woods- apart from the brain explosion was ok

102;148, 164:130:115 noone got over 200 but they put in. it is just unfortunate that circumstances and decisions did not fall our way.

paas was there standout out with over 200 about two other so of theirs got some good metres but that was it - rest were very low

As much as the refs were awful, we had our chances and we were garbage too.
