Was that bobble ruling a new interpretation that was pre-warned or did they just do it on the spot?

I don’t know if they’re going to want to pull that up every game.

it has been set - they shoudl do this every call now. but they won't unfortunately is was a 'cover up' as it is called. in otherwise in the aussie venacular it's called B******** call.

Broncos wanted to win more. End of story.

of course they are a desperado side would are in tatters. it was written for them to win that game. had my doubts about us winning this during the week.

Bloody frustrated but that was a cracking game of footy

you got your wish, but not the outcome! it was a closer game than others

When as a club are we going to get this right.Losing to bottom teams seems to be our thnig. We lost to Dogs and Broncos few years back when they were crap as well

yeah its a problem that we make teams way down the bottom look good!
hope Fitz can change this

I had a sinking feeling we’d lose this one. It’s just not like us to beat easy teams.

We looked so slow today at times, their go forward was dynamic, ours was weak as piss.

We definitely missed Moylan, even as just a good link man. Our attack was off the pace.

Tracey tried his heart out and looked dangerous every time he handled the ball. Kennedy was everywhere and Katoa had a cracking first game back.

Teig was good, as was Ronnie and Tolman but not much else set the world alight.

We just weren’t up for this and both the coach and some senior players must take the blame for it.

Wilton is ok, I think I'm the only one here that doesn't rate him as high as others.

Presumably they could always rule a ‘tap on’ as a knock on (instead of a forward pass, which doesn’t make a lot of sense tbh) but that was a pass action not a tap on action

Funny how the camera angle debate (reason for not being able to rule on forward passes) doesn't apply for 'knock forwards'.

I wish they would just let the bunker rule on them. If it's not conclusive then don't overrule it.

I would say he is a solid player. Does get caught out wide in defence sometimes. Plenty of time to develop though.

Talakai didn't have much impact today. I thought most of his runs were too flat footed.

Did anyone notice that everytime in the second half we could have got a six again the ref would say milking?

There is no way our players were milking every time. Broncos were all over us when we were trying to get up.

Probably happened for both sides but it really annoyed me.

Once it got close we were never getting calls. That being said we were soft and they ran harder...simple

Prior to the Ramien drop ball I was starting to believe we could pluck a win from the fire again. Let’s stuff if to the warriors next week.

Looks like they will be down to 2nd and 3rd string halves combo with all of their injuries.
Hopefully a more committed SJ fronts up.

Hannay’s comments when asked about Duges in the presser was interesting.
He started by trying to deflect the question but it appeared that his true feelings came out when he said something along the lines off:
I’m too busy coaching an dealing with people inside of the bubble to worry about or have time for people outside of the bubble.

I could be reading into that a bit too much but seems like we may have seen the last of Duges at the Sharks.
