I hope we don't spend the 'rivers of gold' unless we have to. There are ways to roll it forward by a year if we need to.

When in the history of the Sharks have they ever beat Broncos to a glamour signing?

They are still the NRL glamour team with the best facilities, unlimited 3rd parties, a sunny state city, the reputation of being a “Bronco” etc. and they have a better forward pack then us for him.

Sharks had a real hot crack by the sounds and just missed out. The board might of done the best job it could but in the end couldn’t match everything the Broncos had to offer.

Likely more a case of the truth laying somewhere in the middle (not necessarily exactly in the middle)

Most of their articles are a rehash of their shows, most of their shows are a rehash of an article.

Coach usually conducts the season review and presents it to the board. Morris would have absolutely done one. Probably would have only been one page but still a review all the same.

Presumably he did a football/team review of some kind and they perhaps do a more overall one, and perhaps didn’t bother to include thoughts on him in it

We’d like to take this opportunity to update our Members on the major strategic items across the Group including Licensed Clubs, Football and our Sharks Leagues Club Precinct Development.

The Board of Directors and Management team are committed to keeping our Members informed on what is happening at our great Club. We continue to provide out Member’s with a monthly CEO’s update and quarterly Chairman’s update over email, but with the closure of our Leagues Club for Development followed by Covid restrictions, we have not been able to hold a Member’s Information Night for some time.

We ask that all Sharks at Kareela and Sharks Football Club Members register their attendance by completing the form below. Due to Government imposed Covid venue capacity restrictions, numbers are limited.

Good read.

I was up the board a few weeks ago with delay in signings with others circling. I feel more at ease now we have signed those we wanted (Talakai, Tracey, Toby and Kennedy). The picture is now becoming clearer. We should know by next game the outcome of Fitz & SJ meeting.

So far, Fitz hasn't done what he has been brought for, "attract big name players" so he needs to get on his bike before they disappear.

We need a 5/8, Hinze will do. We need a forward, Finucane will do. We need a centre, Manu will do.

Work some magic, get these done and I will piss my pants.

I think we will get Finucane.. Manu is the one I’m worried we won’t get - Ramien and Manu on the edges would be killer
