Are you suggesting Chad is lying about liking Bomber because he already has a good contract from him? Or that he is blind to other players not liking him because he already has a good contract from him?

Maybe Chad says he likes Bomber as coach because he expects to be at the club the next few years and wants Bomber as coach...

Maybe just sucking groin to help stay in the No 7 ahead of any competition :)

Hmm, all possible but I do suspect Chad likes him now as much as ever, if Chad hadn’t already set himself up he has nothing stopping him now, locked in till 23 is over.

"When you take into consideration he inherited a mess (when former coach Shane Flanagan was stood down), he has done superbly and brought in a bunch of great young players who will only get better next year."

Definitely not expecting Flanno back anytime soon!

Coach treats you like a mate, gives you a 4 year extension in YOUR option and gives you a guaranteed spot in the team regardless of your form.

What’s not to like

Fittest back on return to pre-season today.
Will need to him to start the season well, hopefully less fatigue keeps him from making too many of his dumber moves...

New boy Tolman was fittest forward which is a good sign also (not unexpected) as based on our last season we will need him making a tonne of tackles

That is why I love the Tolman signing - Hopefully it makes the young forwards take note and be embarrassed

Not really a good sign when your oldest forward is your fittest - said it last year that our team looks unfit

In second half of this morning session (contact, approx 7 or 8 a side) looks like Chad was playing hooker for his team, although doesn't look like his team had any other spine players on it so I guess he didn't really have a choice.

May as well give it a try. Soro would have been our 2nd/3rd choice hooker and he is gone. If blayke goes down during a game it’s either going to be Chad or Tracey if he’s in the team.
