Good on him. Love my XPAs hopefully get to try it out one day. If you’re going to start a business it’s a pretty fun business to start!

And hopefully it takes off so he doesn’t take up his POs and focuses on that.

So everyone buy it !

Forget any hate you might have for him being our #7 for a sec & you've gotta take your hat off to the bloke. Always just wanted to be a footy player & now heading into his 10th yr of FG, part of his team's 1st prem, hot wife, side businesses & player options till end '23.

Hard work & professionalism pays off. He's Cooper Cronk-lite. Wish we could upgrade to the pro version.

Chad is the 0.5 beer your accidentally pick out of the work fridge. Sometimes you don't even notice the difference, but you won't ever get the same buzz as the full strength

There's probably licensing and RSA reasons why it can't happen but be good if they're available at Sharks games.

Only so much Great Northern and other similar cat piss beers one can handle *

*apologies to those that like those beers. Just might personal taste especially as I live in Craft brew territory.

I like & prefer my craft beers as well TS but Great Northern is the best pick of the Cats Piss beers around, I don’t mind it & given there is no craft beer around I either go for that or a low carb beer cause my body’s a temple.

I got a free great northern when I purchased something else. It sat in the fridge till I was pissed & wanting 1 more before bed it was last/only option. 2 sips & went to bed. Dirty stuff. Dry & tasteless till the filthy after taste.

What about the article underneath it- Kevin Locke looking for a train and trial deal?
31 now but still does the 100 in under 11 secs!
Has played a lot of footy with Sj.
Wouldn’t hurt to get him over for a look?

I'd be stoked to give Locke a train and trial deal (although if I was Bomber I'd probably ask SJ what he thinks, and assuming he ).
More than worth a chance to try out for the team in a position we are very thin.

edit: actually I thought he had been playing ESL still but just had a look and he definitely has not
In June 2016 Locke signed a deal with Shute Shield rugby union side Southern Districts & agreed to join the Western Sydney Rams in the NRC, however failed to get accustomed to the code-switch & spent most of the season playing in the lower grades, he was subsequently left out of the NRC squad for the Rams. In November 2016, Locke signed a contract to join Manly Sea Eagles. He was released during the pre-season and signed with the Sunshine Coast Falcons in the Queensland Cup.[15] He was released and returned to New Zealand to play for the Point Chevalier Pirates in the Fox Memorial Shield mid season, 2016.

Based on that I would probably expect him to not be signed if we did give him a train and trial

100%
Not a big loss if it doesn’t work out & hell of a upside if it comes off

Chad got a mammoth length contract too, Chad would NEVER bag him, I don’t mind Bomber but that contract Chad got was a terrible decision.

Are you suggesting Chad is lying about liking Bomber because he already has a good contract from him? Or that he is blind to other players not liking him because he already has a good contract from him?

Maybe Chad says he likes Bomber as coach because he expects to be at the club the next few years and wants Bomber as coach...
