Yeah we did well to finish top 4/equal 1st with all the injury issues, lack of injuries is often one of the main factors that sees teams go well.
However next season we will see how much we miss Lewy unless someone else can step up big time, or a few people can step up...

Sorenson and capewell filled the hole pretty well this year. Hopefully some competition for starting spots will get the best out of them in the pre season

Yes and Williams looked good also but all are a looong way short of Lewy, but as you say hopefully competition for the spot and another pre-season can see them all kick on a notch.
Ideally one of them (I wouldn't think Sorensen) can start to become one of those players like Lewy that do the extra stuff above and beyond such as leading kick chase and kick pressure.

I remember a SOO that was already lost and Lewy desperately dove past another NSW player for a loose ball, the other player had given up already (the whole rest of the team were acting like they had) and Lewy still put his body on the line to try and get the ball even though it couldn't make a difference. That's the 110% attitude we will miss more than his defence, line running or intercepts.

Gone off topic a bit... hows about that Josh Dugan fellow

NRL.com saying a slower than expected recovery from shoulder surgery for Dugan.

Moylan and Bakuya looking good though

Slower than expected for Dugan? Wow... look forward to seeing him play again in 2020

If we do have the move a player on I hope this bloke is the first out the door, not that I think his a bad player just value for money.

Totally. We thought he would be an asset , now he has turned into a a liability. If he doesn't go l hope he stays on the field for the whole season , then he would revert to an asset.

The problem is , who would take him @ 750k ?

We would be paying every dollar under that figure that his next club is willing to pay.

Its such a shame he seems to get injured so much aa he is actually a good player. Honestly if someone would give us 550k for him i would be tempted to let him go and then sign someone else on 150-200ish

I don't like the idea of him on the wing. He has to be in and amongst it somehow. His main attributes are his core body strength, lankiness and ability to pop a pass.

Still think if we get a couple of good years out of him he'll be worth having in the team.

I’m a long way away from wanting to sack duges... thinking he will go nuts this year
