Who is saying he'll be on the wing?
Hopefully he's not. It seems to be where a few people have decided he should be, from past posts.
I'd rather not spend the time finding the actual quotes though as I just finished work and am weary.
Fair enough mate, don't pay attention to the mongs, Dugan is a centre, only on the wing in emergency situations.

Dugan would get too inured running kicks back to be on the wing.
If we need to chop someone for salary cap punishment reasons I don't think we can afford to lose one of one two decent centres we have (ahead of Xerri who hasn't played, Capewell who we need in the backrow and Gray).
I'd imagine guys like Ava and Uele would be more likely to get shipped, Gray if someone was really desperate for an outside back.

Problem is those guys aren't on much now, wherever they go they probably get paid less so we have to make up the difference.
On top of that we need to replace them. So probably not going to save us much coin.
Unfortunately in these situations you normally end up losing someone you don't really want to lose.

Uele would be on a minimum wage contract - or at least a low one and so would Ava I’d imagine, so offloading these guys we’d need to replace them with someone, not actually saving any money.
We need to offload a mid-tier player and replace with a minimum wage player.
If it were me I’d be happy if Duges was let go, can’t see his body improving - if not I’d see if anyone wanted Prior. I think we’ve got too much money tied up in props and of our three guys he’d be the first I’d want to see leave. I like the guy but I think woods and Fifs are younger and offer more.

What's the go with Katoa? Thought he looked decent in his little bit of time in the NRL - Xerri and lume2 have jumped him or he has stagnated/dropped?

That’s probably changing every day bud. Considering we haven’t played a trial yet it’s probably too early to say for sure.
