One of the main industries in nth Queensland is the cattle industry, this is where the cowboy name comes from

funny you mentioned the depression, as I understand the depression was in the 1930's
The South Sydney Rabbitohs 1908.
Rabbitohs must have been selling rabbits on the streets of redfern before the depression.

I am not knocking you, I found that info interesting, as did not know what a rabbitoh was untill now.

Yes I do.
The "Rabbitoh" came from the blokes screaming out "RABBITOH!" in the streets to alert people they were approaching.Kinda like the ice cream bloke sounds his music etc when they r coming up the street.I still think it's dumb because as far as I know the rabbits they were selling were dead.
So their logo should a bunch of dead rabbits.

Though for me, it has to be Melbourne Victory. I hate football (soccer) teams with a 'name'. Should just be Melbourne FC, Melbourne United etc...
