Club using Dykes as the model in our 25 gear.
Believe the club still has high hopes and definitely haven’t given up on him.
Just trying to get some value from him and set up his modelling career after we finally get him off our books

Just kidding though, I don’t see why he can’t make a full return. I’m certainly too far removed to start diagnosing it as career over. Seen far too many players get back on the field after people online retired them. Weren’t we just talking about getting Paps…

Don't think any of the Kids we have overtakes WK, for the next 2 seasons. All hot air, And we don't have cap money to replace IMHO., without releasing players and weakening side. People wanna keep Ronnie and Pay him $500k, then WK remains.

I think someone else will be fullback by 2026. Whether that be Ison/Dykes or another recruit. There are too many good fullbacks out there/coming through.

Ison and Dykes are both capable of taking WIll's spot in the next two seasons. I will also say that Kennedy is also capable of getting better and adding more to his game. He clearly works very hard so I would not put it past him to get better. I also think that if our forwards get a role on more, we will see his attack shine more.

I don’t mind Kennedy but think we’ve seen his ceiling imo.

Not sure we'll see Dykes at 1... from memory was playing at 6 for the Jets. Although that might have been cos Ison was at 1?

Not alone no. But beside 22/23 Nicho and 24 Tricky/Blayke I see no reason why it couldn't be. Even more so if they all take another step.
Even with Tricky, Blayke and Hynes on fire I feel like WK is the weak link we need to upskill to win a cup.

His position should be a game changing position for us but it’s not

Yeah I just think 3 spine players killing it is enough to carry 1. Many people would have said players like Kenny, Townsend etc weren't good enough to win, but they had enough around them.

I'd still prefer we found an upgrade in that spot though.
