That's an interesting question for an old fart like me.

He's not in the same league as Peachey or Barba.

Will has similar skill to Docking, but nowhere near the heart - yet?

I'd love to hear Sir Chadley's comments on this...

Hard to compare them all but you couldn’t beat Peachey for excitement. When he got the ball it was a bit like back in the 70s with Steve Rogers, you just knew something was going to happen.

Barba was brilliant obviously but they were different players. Barba normally set you up or someone set him up, Peachey did it all on his own.

Docking like everyone said was all heart and one tough bugger.

My pick would be Peachey above them all.

Im each way on this. Peachey was consistently better on average over the course of his career imo, he kept that high level of play for longer. But Barba had a better year in 2016 then any of Peach’s seasons (plus he has the premiership Peach couldnt get), Barba couldnt really do it over the course of his career though for off field reasons. Depends how you look at it really.

Regardless, we were lucky to have both.
True

But If I’m picking a team today - Barba is my fullback

Love the peach no slight on him just that Barba was extra special and we were lucky to have both

Correct but he was near perfect in 2016 and to us thats all that counted.

I kept a tally and he only dropped 1 high ball all season, which was against the titans when he got ****in smashed (greg bird) as he caught it.
Hard work keeping that tally.

I was there for that game, wanted Bird sent, but he timed it just right...

Our winning % with Peach on the field was something crazy like 70% - when he wasn’t there we generally lost. Great reader of the game.

Benny Mendes Barba- did a great job of riding / barking at our three quarters in 2016 - had that defensive line set.

Don’t forget Mick Mullane!

I don't forget Mick Mullane at all - just had to throw out a few on short notice.

Was that the game he made a break and broke the titans defenders ankles with his footwork and scored? Went to the video ref, I remember thinking it wasn't a try but glad it was.

This is the try I am thinking off. Did that defender dirty. Kinda looked like a knock on before the offload to Barba

Benny in 2016 is one of the reasons I usually end up having two all-time sharks line ups.

All time greatest sharks (peach)
World beaters (Benny)

What about the 3rd all-time line up - Sharks you’d turn gay for?
